8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC #4

Just a quick post to say we made it home and even was able to grab an early flight (one was delayed by about a half hour so we were abe to get on that one which put us in Vegas 2 hours earlier ...wahoooo Dream passed and comped early flight all in the same day ..LOL ) We had a GREAT time with everyone ...the DIS ride on POTC was hilarious , but I will leave that to someone us to explain ( Anyone having Crab) ( Look over on this side , wait whats that over on the other side **AWE Jack running from side to side of the boat errr I mean ship LOL ) ( PLEASE REMAIN SEATED AT ALL TIMES ) ...Okay were whipped , that 7am early entry and not leaving the parks till after 11 killed us ..LOL will get some sleep , talk to everyone tomorrow ...Again , I will repeat what Roger said , If this meet was any indication of whats to come in August , this is going to be a TOAL that no one will forget ...might be hard to top these 15 days and nights coming up ....

Sounds like you made the life of the party(or at partially)!!! Hope you add lots of excitement and energy for our cruise CJS!!!

The graduation was unbelievable..DD nows has a Masters Degree in International Affairs............

Boston was great did quite a bit of tourist things as I never been there before..will try to post some pics later..ate quite a bit.. Visited the famous Mike's Pasty quite a bit...

Not as cold as expected.. did snow a little bit on Saturday morning.

Just noticed that we could potentially have our first formal night on the second night of the cruise, then the next one will not occur for 12 more days. Lets see a pound a day X 12 Better order the tux pants one size bigger and use a couple of safety pins for the first night.

Roger I was thinking the same thing!! Which Formal dress is bigger!! The biggest dress wins for the last Formal Night!!

Hmmmm..... cruise tux wear... elastic waistband... maybe we can make some $$ there....

Not fair.............John's tux pants are two inches adjustable which could be up to 15 pounds of weight he will gain in 15 days.

M...I have some of the H2O shampoo and conditioner leftover from our last cruise. I'd be happy to send some to you....I noticed Chrissie responded as well, but just thought I'd let you know that I can also help you out.

We came home with several extra bottles and break it out every once in a while as a little cruise ship reminder. We call it our "ship-poo".

You'll probably really like it....I thought it worked great! Smells great too.

Ok here is our Royalty - Monica - who was wanting to see Monica in her Tiara? I remember she said she was going to wear it. Had I remembered - I'd of brought DD's. I was jealous! ANyway - here is the proof - she really does wear it.

This was taken after dinner - when I suddenly remembered (thanks to Roger) that I had the camera and needed to take pictures.

OK folks - I am tired and must get to bed - tomorrow is workout day and I was a very bad girl this weekend. HOWEVER, proud to admit that I am still caffeine free!

I noticed my countdown clock said 149 days till we leave for vacation & all I can think is I better get back on the exercise bike!

Has anyone besides Andrew been following the "new dining rotaion" thread? I've given up trying to figure it out - and my only real care about it is when we should book Palo dinner. So here is what I'm thinking....the night we are in PV the 'all aboard' time is pretty late, so that night should be a normal rotation dining night (i.e., no formal, semi, pirate) AND those of us on the 1 pm zip line will be cutting it really close to make it back and be presentable for early dining...SO, I'm thinking that late-ish Palo on PV night might be a good idea. The kids can eat burgers and pizza & go to the lab.

All I care about is when to book Palo too. Since we have late dining, I'm going to try & go to Palo early so we can still go to dinner with the kids. Not that I plan on eating anything, but I hate to miss any dinners.

Using their activities, I would guess (pure guessing, no inside info, no psychic ability, no anything to go on but guessing, don't plan your calendars on this, don't bet in Vegas, don't change your plans... I'm guessing)

Thanks for the guess anyway! There was talk a while back of those not planning the ladies brunch to try & do a brunch at the same time instead of trying to book a separate room. Any talk of when everyone plans on going to brunch?

That's what I figure! They rallied very nicely after getting in late on our last 2 trips. We basically threaten them that if they are evil, we will have to leave early on the next trip & they will miss a park day.

But hurry - as I leave on my 1st cruise of the summer in about 53 days - ok - actually - I will be leaving around the 8th of May. I will kick off the 90 countdown while onboard the Magic!

Would love to, Laura. But, I'm just going to have to wait until August to meet everyone There is so much happening between now and then that the time will go quickly, at least that is what I'm hoping.

Glad you are going on the WB - we'll be able to get first hand reports.

DL Mini Meet was great. Had a blast. Thanks to Todd's son Dylan and his deligence, we got dreamed with fastpasses. He was deteremined to get something out of this trip.

I've heard there were already pics posted. Not sure when I'll be able to post pics though. ST dropped the laptop and my screen is black now, if I tilt it just right I can sort of see the log in. Trying to decide if I'll let the kids at Geek Squad look at it or send it to HP.

Had one of the best trips ever with DS. He is really working hard on his attitude and behavior. I think it's part maturity part medication. But whatever it is, I'll take it.

Can't wait to see what everyone's been up to.

B. Is anyone else like me and hoard travel shampoo, etc. from resorts & cruises? If so, and you have some spare H2O products from WDW or DCL, would you be willing to share some & mail it to me? (I'll pay for shipping and buy you a drink on the cruise). We haven't stayed on property or cruised since Disney started leaving H2O products in the room. I'd really like to try the shampoo & condition before we go because if it doesn't freak my hair out, it would save me from packing 2 weeks worth of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. I just need to try the stuff first or risk sportin' a 2-ft. wide white girl 'fro for 2 weeks.

i only have one tube left of both.... Smell is ok. not my favorite though.

i wasn't too impressed with the conditioner and thought the shampoo was a little drying on my hair. Good idea to test ahead of time.

As for soap...i don't do bar soap so i bring a bottle of body wash with me and a cheapy poof that i chuck (ie don't bring home) at the end of the cruise.

But all the fine wenches will be lady like at all times on this cruise.....

I'm sure we will Tom.

BTW don't we have a Wenches Brunch planned too.... i remember signing up for that.

I've done those late night flights...No way this time....

But now that dd doesn't appear to be going maybe we will just stay at DW one night and come home in the AM.

Okay, dumb question alert. Can someone please explain the Tag Fairy? I'm totally clueless on this.

Where it says Mouseketeer under your user name, there is sometimes a saying put there. It's called a tag. If it's black, it means the user put it there, but if it's colored, it means the "tag fairy" put it there. We don't know who the tag fairy is, but he/she shows up & usually will quote something you said, or it might just have to do with something you said/did or sometimes they just color what was already there. Also wanted to add that the tag fairy has shown up here on occasion!
