Sounds like everyone had a great time at the Dis meet. Hard to believe only 5 months till we board the Magic. Yahoo! Happy ST. Patricks Day.

Hi Magicgg - are you new to posting? I noticed your count - does this mean Congrats are in order? If so -

:welcome: and are you ready to party: ?

We just had one of our first meets and this cruise is going to be a blast!

:welcome: again and just join in the fun!

SoCal's version of transportation to the world

Due to space limitations - one can see how close things are in relation to WDW in FL. Just on the other side of the hedge is public streets that cut through and under Downtown Disney and the hotels. LOL - this is for those that have not been to DL. Notice the sign in the background? :rotfl:

A very bad likeness of JD. :headache:

Yes folks, Laura was a very bad girl - I shot JD! But I blame it on the company - :rotfl2:

OK folks - I am tired and must get to bed - tomorrow is workout day and I was a very bad girl this weekend. HOWEVER, proud to admit that I am still caffeine free! :yay: :cheer2:

Speaking of which - I just had to comment. I was all excited when after a prolonged absence from Mass - I reappeared just in time to hear the altar server ringing the bells which they stopped ringing oh - about 12-13 years back. I remember Andrew was still under 10 when they stopped and he's soon to be 22. So I got this big grin on my face and when DD asked why I was smiling in Church - I told her to which she said - what? You are not making any sense. Is there anyone else out there that knows what part of Mass I'm talking about? Weird - how something small like that brings a smile to your face. I must of missed that part more than I realized. They always did it at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer in Vegas when I went but I don't usually take the kids there. They stopped that practice many moons ago here in SoCal.

Our parish started ringing the bells again at Consecration several years ago. My ds is a server as well, so some times that is his job. I'm always nervous he won't do it at the right time! :goodvibes

Laura, Thanks for posting all of those pictures. :thumbsup2
Well it's the Monday of Spring break & I have to work all week. Boo.

Dylan totally enthralled by Sarah at the kids table - did I mention they were awesome?

Busy, busy weekend in my world...not nearly as good as a trip to DL!
DS9 played in a 'select' hockey tournament - the best kids from each hockey club, all-star sort of thing. They got smoked, but it was pretty cool that he made the team since this is his first year as a squirt. All but one of the other players were 2nd year kids who are moving up a level next year.

AND we had an extra dog all weekend. AND we went to the Globetrotters "game" Saturday night. Etc., etc., etc.

The proverbial Dole whip shot for M.

:) I love Dole Whips!

Thanks so much to everyone for sharing photos. I wish we could have been there! I'm even more excited about this trip.

Kevin and I are so jealous! Everybody is going to know everybody and we won't know anybody...waaaaa! :sad1: ;)

Knowing someone and having met them in person are two very different things, Debi! You know people.

Very true, we leave here -Heathrow at 10am, arrive LAX 1PM your time, 11 hour flight, I hope to get into Disneyland that night, at least Fireworks and Fantasmic, so if we stay to say 9pm, thats 5am our time,

I will be looking for the kids to sleep on some of the flight to adjust, and I am looking to get into the parks for early entry on Thursday.:surfweb:

Ugh. That sounds like our travel time to WDW from Alaska! We left our house at 10 p.m. AK time and arrived at the Radisson at the port at 9:30 pm FL time the next day.

I was in the last phase of WACs when I enlisted. I was planning to become an Army Nurse, just wasn't in the cards for me(terrible math skills). Went home and finished out my hitch at the local hospital, working on the Psych Ward.

Excellent preparation for a career in an elementary school lunch room. :upsidedow

Welcome home Liz. Congratulations on DDs success. You had great weather to come home to.

Julie, my first job in NYC was right off 5th on 44th st. Worked for the architects that did the Empire State Building. They staged the parade down all the side streets and all you could hear was the drums all day long. I loved it!!!(they hated it ) The office was so stodgy it brought some fun in for the day. :goodvibes Bad part was trying to get lunch that day and fight the crowds.

Laura thanks for the extra dose of Pictures. You guys must have been a riot. I am so jealous.
Ugg!!!!Bad allergy day today. Need to dig out the Claritin.
