Hi Cheryl, I'm still coming to Schaumburg. I never heard anything from the company so I'm assuming that I didn't get it. Oh well, just have to wait for the right one to come along.
I am stopping by the store this evening for some Special Career-Oriented
Tension Calming Helper (SCOTCH), which I am also told works pretty well.

Any volunteers?![]()
I probably would have walked out. Or run.And probably straight to McDonald's....it's so much easier!
That's funny, I was thinking that too!![]()
I hope.Just a senior moment for me or that is what I will blame it on.![]()
Andrew you will be just a shadow by the time we see you.![]()

ThanksHi all![]()
The weather was so nice here that I had to go out for a walk. First bit of exercise since battling the flu. Gotta catch up diet wise with Kris and Andrew. You both are very much an inspiration![]()
![]()
Coral, Thanks for the reminder about the DIS meet at the DoubletreeThat will be lots of fun too
![]()
Andrew glad they finally put a diagnosis to you and that it is treatable![]()
Had to laugh about your laxative story. Both DH and I have had similar digestive problems due to the diet. Definitely sounds like a Saturday Night Live skit![]()
She's 17. She'd know where those are.
My kids are the only ones I ever see playing outside around here.![]()
Thank youAndrew, so glad to see you. I was really worried about you.
This is far worseI briefly worked at an Eckerds drug store and we had a young asst mgr who in his perverted way, liked to put people on the spot. Whenever he saw a young guy buying protection, he would dash down to my register and call out over the intercom if they were on sale. Poor guys. You could see them shrinking on the spot.
Welcome back Andrew! Sounds like you've got a lot going on right now. Hope all is resolved successfully!
Yes thank you for sharing that embarrassing moment with hundreds of your closest Internet friends!![]()
Andrew I am shocked that you did not post this here first.![]()
After all I am a pharmacist and Mike "crusinmike" is finishing his pharmacy education. And after all Mike and I could have given you some great free advice and Crash would have been able to supplement our comments with photos.
Besides we are all family here.
PS WELCOME BACK!!!!

NEWS FROM LONDON,
H M Queen, has opened terminal 5 at Heathrow airport today, to be used exclusively by British Airways.
This is terminal has the largest free standing roof, of any building in the UK,
Cost £4.3bn $8.6bn,
Construction began: September 2002
Aircraft stands: 60 by 2010
Car park spaces: 3,800
Self service check-in kiosks: 96
Standard check-in desks: 54
Security lanes: 20
Bags processed per hour: 12,000
Lifts: 192
Escalators: 105
Retail units: 112
I can travel by train ( overground and underground there)
Check in in mins, for my flight to Lax in August, short walk to the Airport lounge, via a short walk through security.
All gates are again a short walk,
11 hours later I will be in LAX, and transferring to Disneyland, whilst my luggage enjoys a world tour of China, Australia, South Africa....
Well I can't wait to try it out too! I saw on the news that the retail therapy is extensive as we spend £25/head ($50) in dwell time, i.e. waiting for the plane, so there are minited number of "free" spaces to sit to make us spend more. I have a potential job coming up there soon, so hope to reccie it before we fly. Sony has a shop there - I can just imagine boarding with a
60" flat screen telly as my hand luggage!
Anyway, DH has taken DD to see Hannah Montanna 3D tonight.Yes, they've taken their own snacks in Lauren's HSM handbag! Not exactly his ideal birthday night out - I'm sure he'd be rather having a drink or few, but good old Alistair has put pay to that by increasing our prices, and as fuel in some areas has hit £5/gallon ($10) we seem to be hammered wherever we turn!
For those at the mini-meet have a great time - not jealous....MUCH!
For those of you still feeling under the weather, I hope you improve soon - my cold seems to be having an affair with me - everytime I think it's on its way out, it seems to come back with a vengence.
Took Lauren to the hospital on Monday for an opthalmic consult as she has lost a vast quantity of eyelashesBesides needing glasses, she has been diagnosed with alopecia for which there is no treatment
& she'll just have to wait for them to grow back of their own accord, which may be 6 month, 12 months or longer!
Have spent the last couple of evenings doing some holiday prep & am in the throws of creating our fish extender - will post a piccie if I ever get in finnished!
Have a great week-end all
Celestine
Good luck with DD, hope she and your cold gets better soon, and yes I am looking forward to T5 in August, it will be one way, as the return is to Gatwick.
We've decided to fly home from Miami back to LHR as it's only a 20min drive rather than the hour+ that Gatwick is. Theoretically we should have plenty of time to get to MIA for our flight and costs us pretty much the same as we'd have spent on a day room at the Hyatt!
Just watching sport relief - Lauren ran a mile at school today. DH & I ran too & it sure felt more than a mile!
