CAUTION: ACTUAL CRUISE-RELATE POST
I know shocking, isn't it?
1. Has anyone besides Andrew been following the "new dining rotaion" thread? I've given up trying to figure it out - and my only real care about it is when we should book Palo dinner. So here is what I'm thinking....the night we are in PV the 'all aboard' time is pretty late, so that night should be a normal rotation dining night (i.e., no formal, semi, pirate) AND those of us on the 1 pm zip line will be cutting it really close to make it back and be presentable for early dining...SO, I'm thinking that late-ish Palo on PV night might be a good idea. The kids can eat burgers and pizza & go to the lab.
B. Is anyone else like me and hoard travel shampoo, etc. from resorts & cruises? If so, and you have some spare H2O products from WDW or DCL, would you be willing to share some & mail it to me? (I'll pay for shipping and buy you a drink on the cruise). We haven't stayed on property or cruised since Disney started leaving H2O products in the room. I'd really like to try the shampoo & condition before we go because if it doesn't freak my hair out, it would save me from packing 2 weeks worth of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. I just need to try the stuff first or risk sportin' a 2-ft. wide white girl 'fro for 2 weeks.![]()
Just a quick post to say we made it home and even was able to grab an early flight (one was delayed by about a half hour so we were abe to get on that one which put us in Vegas 2 hours earlier ...wahoooo Dream passed and comped early flight all in the same day ..LOL ) We had a GREAT time with everyone ...the DIS ride on POTC was hilarious , but I will leave that to someone us to explain ( Anyone having Crab) ( Look over on this side , wait whats that over on the other side **AWE Jack running from side to side of the boat errr I mean ship LOL ) ( PLEASE REMAIN SEATED AT ALL TIMES![]()

) ...Okay were whipped , that 7am early entry and not leaving the parks till after 11 killed us ..LOL will get some sleep , talk to everyone tomorrow ...Again , I will repeat what Roger said , If this meet was any indication of whats to come in August , this is going to be a TOAL that no one will forget ...might be hard to top these 15 days and nights coming up ....

Totally Enhancing Quickly Untensing Incredible Liquid Aid (TEQUILA)
My brothers were alter boys. I remember my Mom coaching them on when to ring the bells. Puts a grin on my face tooSpeaking of which - I just had to comment. I was all excited when after a prolonged absence from Mass - I reappeared just in time to hear the altar server ringing the bells which they stopped ringing oh - about 12-13 years back. I remember Andrew was still under 10 when they stopped and he's soon to be 22. So I got this big grin on my face and when DD asked why I was smiling in Church - I told her to which she said - what? You are not making any sense. Is there anyone else out there that knows what part of Mass I'm talking about? Weird - how something small like that brings a smile to your face. I must of missed that part more than I realized. They always did it at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer in Vegas when I went but I don't usually take the kids there. They stopped that practice many moons ago here in SoCal.
Congrats on your daughter's Master's degreeThe graduation was unbelievable..DD nows has a Masters Degree in International Affairs............
Boston was great did quite a bit of tourist things as I never been there before..will try to post some pics later..ate quite a bit.. Visited the famous Mike's Pasty quite a bit
Have a great Monday and safe St Patricks Day.
I love Boston
Congrats to your DSBusy, busy weekend in my world...not nearly as good as a trip to DL!
DS9 played in a 'select' hockey tournament - the best kids from each hockey club, all-star sort of thing. They got smoked, but it was pretty cool that he made the team since this is his first year as a squirt. All but one of the other players were 2nd year kids who are moving up a level next year.
AND we had an extra dog all weekend. AND we went to the Globetrotters "game" Saturday night. Etc., etc., etc.
Hey JulieHope everyone has a good day . . . I will wander over to see part of the parade on Fifth Avenue today and tonight I will go to hear the Chieftains at Carnegie Hall . . .
I went to watch the St Patrick's day parade once... back in the 70s
I was the only Irish girl in the bunch
Makes em interestingCan you say "cut paste error"
But all the fine wenches will be lady like at all times on this cruise.....
Guess I should have started before 4 pm yesterday on writing....
I promise that all future newsletters will be replete with errors, made up facts, and other errata![]()
Thanks for the newsletter TomWe will defintely have to compare notes afterwards to see who gains the most weight on the cruise. I'm thinking I'll be up thereRoger I was thinking the same thing!!Which Formal dress is bigger!!
The biggest dress wins for the last Formal Night!!

Not fair.............John's tux pants are two inches adjustable which could be up to 15 pounds of weight he will gain in 15 days.![]()
I gain weight so fast
September is a major diet month for me
Is that like a progressive party. We had those in collegeIf you can't tell, I'm checking out the westbound thread....
They have us beat on one event, "Shots around the ship" and they aren't talking photography....
Each room had a different drink
Probably couldn't do that with this size of a group though
Congrats Andrew1/
I hope we will get some happy 'St Georges day' posts next week, ps Shakespeare's birthday.
I know everyone likes the reports on my weight loss today I stand at
15.1 Just above the 15 stone mark, hope to break through into the 14's next week, but....... Easter.... is in the way!!
I started on December 31st at a whopping 17.7 Stone,( ps a Stone is 14 ILB's)
So 2.6 off so far, and I might be hunky for the cruise!
and TMI, I am sitting in my 36 inch jeans tonight, for the first time since mid 2007! Hardly worn since I purchased then in Orlando in 2006.
I can't get my weight to budge Took Lauren to the hospital on Monday for an opthalmic consult as she has lost a vast quantity of eyelashesBesides needing glasses, she has been diagnosed with alopecia for which there is no treatment
& she'll just have to wait for them to grow back of their own accord, which may be 6 month, 12 months or longer!
Have a great week-end all
Celestine
...that's a great..group picture,, ...hint....the only

Oh, we all love the smell of it.....but mostly because it takes us right back to memories of being on board!
![]()
Isn't it funny how smells can do that?
So M- you may not want to use the ship-poo, since it could bring back memories of your Washington DC house while you're on the TOAL.![]()

I had a visit from the tag fairy!!!!!!!!
I am in pretty colors now!!!!

Can she change her locker combinationJust had to share this lovely bit of news with ya'll! My DD had the battery from her cell phone stolen right out of her school locker today. She insists her locker was locked, but there are kids that watch to see your combination. Now if this isn't bad enough, DD had her Ipod stolen from her school bus in the fall, her Ugg boots were stolen from her dance class a few weeks ago (although later returned when the thief exchanged them for another girl's Uggs). What a sweet bunch of kids we have living in this area!
![]()
I called DH to give him the news so he could calm down a bit before he got home from work. He does not take the news that he now has to dish out more money very well. Not to mention that his DD has been the target of theft yet again.![]()
I remember this happening a lot when I was in grade school (Catholic school no less
)- How frustrating
I used to love those as a kid. I guess I ate too many, because I can't go near them nowJust stay away from the Cadbury Cream Eggs . . .
Sorry to hear that. Hope it works outIt look like we are staying in Baltimore for at least one more year so that means there is no way we can go on this cruise ... even if we could get a room. We'll see for sure in May.
Right, wasn't thinking about that. Oh, Stacey.........
Spooky, on UK Dis just been told to avoid the 'Mini Egg's.
Its a challenge, a big challenge, its Easter and time for Choco,,, whats that word......
And its going to be freezing cold here with an Arctic snap, so boredom, and that means......

That is so frustrating! Makes you crazy doesn't it? We teach our kids that stealing is wrong and then there are the ones who could care less.
