Your will power is far greater than mine! Trying to indulge my sweet tooth in other ways, e.g. no fat yogurt. Unfortunately where chocolate is concerned, I can't stop after just one square!

Celestine
I have lasted well this time one and a half stone off, but its very difficult, the Doctors however have ''encouraged'' me this time a bit more.

Jamie Oliver seems to be doing his bit for the British public as well !!

Time for our first installment of TRUE CONFESSIONS....
mozert,z_trcnf_oct39.jpg

I've photoshopped a couple images of myself to trim a little off the "curve" of my tummy.

OK... who's next?.... :confused3

Chocolate talk is bad talk. I have to stay away from the chocolate. One piece will do me in and I'll want the whole bag.

Hello, hope you get sunshine soon.:cool2:

Andrew

Never mind them, what about us ????

The UK website Visit Norfolk .com states the following:

The weather in Norfolk is drier and sunnier on average than any other part of the UK.

With its easterly position, the Norfolk coast enjoys the longest days and some of the best weather for happy holidays in the UK.

I've been thinking more about the thread and i think we really should consider starting new thread each month until the trip.... (the first post can be a wiki of sorts each time referring to pirate zone)

That sounds like a great plan. Less intimidating for people who only pop in once in awhile.

OOOH! OOOH! Looks like DH and I will be making a three-day weekend trip to WDW in September, sans kids. LOOK AT THIS!!

WeblogoChallenge4c.jpg

THE COURSE: MYSTERIOUS Race through the dark, exotic terrain of Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park on a thrilling 5K trek in the shadows of the Forbidden Mountain.

THE OBSTACLES: INTENSE The adrenaline is pumping and the anticipation builds as teams (trekkers) prepare for their expedition. Surprises along the way may pose as obstacles on the team's trek.

THE SEARCH: LEGENDARY There are plenty of clues to lead them on their journey, but only a few will escape the Yeti, known as the abominable snowman! The team needs to earn all of the stamps in their Expedition Passport to conquer the challenge!

THE REWARD: FUN Then the real excitement begins as the teams celebrate their finish at an exclusive after-hours party at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.

If you have what it takes to conquer this challenge, then find a teammate and join the trek! The challenge and the party will be twice as much fun!

The race is the day before F&W starts! We're going without the kids!

NOW.....WHO WANTS TO GO ON A JUNGLE TOUR WITH ME IN COLOMBIA???

Are you suggesting I'm not one of those "BIG STRONG GUYS"?

CRASH! Howyoooodoin'?

Yep...they looked at all of our passports, too. The only thing we could begin to think was that they weren't in the mood to hurt Americans....:confused3 I'm just glad. The whole time we were standing on the side of the road (a very narrow dirt path through the jungle) I just kept thinking that no one would ever even find our bodies, and my parents & Megan (the only kid we had at the time) would never know what had happened to us.

That entire trip was quite the experience, to say the least. We were actually staying in Belize and the trip to Tikal (Guatemala) was just a day thing.

NOW.....WHO WANTS TO GO ON A JUNGLE TOUR WITH ME IN COLOMBIA???

What am I complaining about ?????

It's extremely cold here and yes in theory, Norfolk does enjoy warm weather in comparison to the rest of the UK, what it doesn't say is that the rest of the UK breeds Polar Bears.

Kings Lynn is about 45 miles from here and is in a more sheltered position than where I live (Cromer). An interesting fact about Kings Lynn is that outside London, Kings Lynn has the highest population of rats in the UK.

Eventhough we live at the seaside, the weather is only hot (barely warm by Floridian standards) for around 6-8 weeks each year. Last year, that was reduced to around 27 minutes.

I stand by what I say, it's freezing here today.

Crash

Here's a photo of the beach at Cromer during the height of Summer last year.

I hate to taunt and run - but it's time fer me ta go - we're doing some SUNDAY "family" explorin' an' runnin' around town in spite of the heavy rain... catch ya all later tonite!

So earlier today my enitre family looked at me like I had six heads when I mentioned that I would love to do the PV zipline, but no one would go with me.

Whatever gave me that idea? I couldn't convince anyone to do any of the zip lines with me at Olympic Park in Salt Lake City this summer. NOW, they want to zip line. So Yay!

WARNING:
THIS IS AN ACTUAL, REAL, HONEST TO GOODNESS CRUISE-RELATED QUESTION!

Can someone direct me to the non-DCL, kids-allowed zip line tour that I ignored when it came up a few weeks ago?

Thanks.
