So my only charge in Aruba did not seemed to get doubled up. So I thought I was lucky.

Today I get my NEXT Dinsey Visa bill... Lo and behold the second charge from Aruba is on this bill... but then there is a credit for the same amount.

One would think I am all good right?

Well, the credit comes off the top of the 0% balances I carry for the DCL bookings I have. Thats not fair!

Basically means I do have to pay for my Aruba double charge this month in exchange for paying less 5 months from now. (to avoid finance charges)

Arlene... do I waste my time calling customer service to correct this?

That's funny! What a small world -- I've never been to McAllen but, my dad tells me it's a pretty small city.
He moved down there for no reason except he had been down there a couple of times and really liked the area! LOL! He's retired and I guess he can do that kind of thing! LOL!

Hey Stephanie, can I entice you and your family to Peru come August?

I finally booked and got the cofirmation number for Adventures By Disney Sacred Valley and Incan Cities but had to get off the phone as I was late for an appt. Anyone else out there interested? I finally found the ABD section and posted a thread. This will be our first ABD and I'm a bit scared. And before anyone asks. No, I'm not nuts. I had to bank points from 2008 and we used those to book this - as we had to use them up right? Then DH found that he had lost about 350,000 points on a credit card (which we could have used for flights somewhere) and are scheduled to lose another 150,000 pts on Nov 30th, so we are booking via 2008 points and using pts to book our flights which right now are running around $668-$900 for a RT from LAX to LIM (Lima) Peru's International airport. Anyone else in for a crazy adventure?

Oh no! Steve's been getting up lately early and checking on them so I assumed things had gotten a bit better. We did lose for me, what is a lot of $$ in the retirement accounts but I figure old money bags can figure out a way to get some back in a few years. Sorry to hear that - that just means you have to buy lotto tickets!

Well if you change your mind, the add'ons or fairly ok - I thought $2419 for 9 days 8 nights wasn't too bad but that doesn't include airfare.......hhmmm. seems a lot cheaper than some DCL cruises.

YOu know - if you change your mind.......your always welcome. Heard some stories that a lady celebrating her 70th birthday party went and only skipped the river rafting portion. .........Anyone else?

That sounds so cool! Machu Picchu is on my list of "places to visit before I die". Unfortunately, we have to play 2009 very low key because of the 2010 cruise. I'll have to live vicariously through you and Steve. Can't wait to hear about it and see some of your phenomenal pictures.

These are pictures from my DGD's 4th birthday party!!! It was a costume party so I got to use my costumes again!! My DGD was Tinkerbell and my DGS was Captain Hook. John grew a real beard and mustache this time!!

hhhmmm..... I had another friend email this weekend and as if we are up for Bella Italia in June '09.....
Are you taking your entire family or did y'all decide for it to be just you and Steve?

We have tons of AA miles that we need to use soon..... Probably enough for all 5 us..... That is the one good thing about dh & 17dd traveling overseas! MORE miles! LOL!
