I'd like to see them put black tar around the pool areas or perhaps lava... either have got to be cooler on bare feet than what they have there now.

Now I can visualize you saying all your funny remarks.

Packing the car now....

Thanks for a super trip.
Georgiana

It was great to meet you too. I have your number!!!

65 Mondays until 12/5/09.

:)

All I can say "M" is

A big thank you to everyone making this a great cruise, and all your hard work, Hope everyone has safe travels home.

Sorry but was looking forward to chatting with you more but our paths never seemed to cross except for Palo's brunch.:sad2:

Reality hit early this morning. Up at 6 AM and back to work. We got home about 6 PM Monday after a delay in Atlanta. Our plane hadn't been cleared by security. Then there were 2 accidents on the highway on the way home. Can you imagine, no one had dinner ready for us when we got home! I would have settled for a Topsider's buffet or even sandwiches from Goofy's. But instead we had to stop for take out pizza.

Thanks to all who made this a great trip. We had great excursions and loved Cartagena. We didn't participate in a lot of the group activities, but still met a lot of wonderful people. And I even got a few words in at the dinner table. :rotfl: (Thanks Cheryl, John, Arlene, Rich, Laura and Steve) I guess I am glad we missed the Darren Romeo show. It was the only one we didn't see, we decided to see a movie (Swing Vote).

It was really a wonderful 15 days and even though we didn't book onboard I am trying to talk DH in to another cruise in 2010 for our 10th anniversary.

I am still downloading pictures. The laptop gave us some trouble on the cruise. I can't wait to start my scrapbook.

I know next time we could get Brett up on stage. It was great having you dine with us!!! I wish I lived closer so you could teach me how to scrapbook.

  • When does the ship stop swaying.... keep feeling it every so often
  • The Magic really needs dry dock - all the broken glass, missing covers, rust, etc.
  • After spending two weeks on board, what are the top five things you hope they change/add for new ships (e.g. more/faster/bigger elevators)

More "2fers"!!!!!;)
Later lounge hours till at least 2 am.

Hi Everyone!

Brendan and I can't thank you enough for enhancing our vacation! We had so much fun with all of you that we met and hope we can keep our friendships...

We enjoyed our group excursions, our bumping in to one another and our rockin' d bar evenings!

Thank you thank you thank you..this will be a trip that won't be forgotten....

Hopefully everyone got home or to their next destination safely!

We got home last night and Brendan's car wouldn't start! Battery gone...had to get a new one (at least it was under warranty!)

He woke up and said "I'll meet you at topsiders!"

And on a sad note..came home to find out that Petey our younger cat had died:sad1: last Friday he wasn't feeling well and they took him to vet on Saturday..cancer was all throughout his body....it was a shock because he NEVER showed any symptoms...we are all heartbroken including my Peanut cat,,he misses his buddy....

Chrissie

Sorry to hear about Petey.:sad1: It was sure fun getting to meet you Chrissie.

It was Kaitlin's first day of school. Went over to the school with her and found out my Box Top kindergarten kits came, so I spent the morning putting them together for tonight's open house. Unpacked all 4 bags and did laundry.

Back to full reality tomorrow. I go back to work and Kaitlin has a full day + ensemble practice from 3:30 to 6 PM! She will only be taking jazz/hip hop this year as that is the only dance class that fit into our schedule, but she is OK with it. She said ensemble is her first priority. I told her I couldn't do the mad dash home from work anymore, not that I can with all the road construction projects going year round now.

I'm having TOAL blues now. I miss Rockin Bar D. I miss you guys. Billy where are you?

Glad everyone got home safely.

We could have another mini meet next year!!!

ok i'll admit....

I think i kept it together fairly well since leaving the ship...

This afternoon though as we taxied down the runway for takeoff...It all hit me that it was OVER...and i started to cry....

We made it home ok with all our luggage....

Never did make it to TL yesterday... It was noonish when we got to our resort and we were pretty tired so decided to just stay at the resort pool. (OKW)

It wasn't the Adult pool though and i kept waiting for the "barfly" crowd to show up.

We met up with Brack and Annette at Downtown Disney last night and they send their love.

We finshed off the evening by taking the bus over to Beach Club to have dinner.....

I couldn't say no to a NO WAY JOSE...could I? (actually i figured the diet was blown about 15 days ago anyway.)

While waiting a huge amount of time for a table we spotted Tigger24 and her family who had the same idea as us... (It's a small world after all)

See all Frednecks think alike

Since our table came up first, we asked them if they wanted to join us for dinner to save the wait.

We took the boat after dinner over to MGM to transfer over to OKW bus.

The 1 bds at OKW are huge We'll any room is huge after 15 nights on the boat but they are much larger than the other DVC units i've stayed in.

I'll try to skim back a few pages and not tear up.... :sad1:

Can someone ran up to deck 9 and get me a drink?

(ok i tried)

Don't you mean down in Rockin Bar D???

Just want to start out by saying that I met some absolutely fantastic people & it made my cruise truly a Trip of a Lifetime!!! From excursions, hanging by the pool or late nights at Diversions....I always had someone wonderful to chat with & I can't thank you all enough! For those that suffered through my hugs & kisses on our final night....tough cookies! Here's some more!!!

So sorry about DS! My DS is running a high fever & is coughing up a storm. School starts tomorrow and I'd hate for him to miss the first day. I hope his fever breaks.

1) Keep diversions open for ADULTS until at least 2am. Trying to find a place to drink & chat with some great friends at night was ridiculous!

When is that pj party planned???

Sorry to hear about your cat!

Wish we had known you were here! We were right outside at the pool most likely - We were swimming for a few hours about dinner time.

Well..everything is repacked...Dh will check in for his flight in the morning...and I pick up my van in the morning as well...we leave about 10am tomorrow to start home. Spent the day at Epcot...had a great time..bought a few more things I didn't have room for in my suitcases but squeezed them in anyways! Heard from the friend who is watching Tori's fish...2 of the 3 died while we were gone...DH will take care of that Thursday when he gets home from work.

I will try and check in from our hotels along the route...looking forward to getting home...

take care!

Have a safe trip Desiree!!! Call me when you get a chance.:flower3:

Hey folks, I hope you can bear with me through another post like this, but looks like I'm in for some rough times ahead. Trevoy is really depressed over being home. This is beyond the normal post vacation blues. He's really down. Added to that is the stress over going back to school, which is his main trigger for his depression. And he's afraid of my brother again. Trevoy was talking to his grandma about the trip and admitted that he got into it with me. My brother overheard and pretty much went off on Trevoy. Unfortunately I wasn't around and don't know exactly what happened.

We've got an appointment next week with the therapist, but I'm going to try to get him in tomorrow after school. I'm seeing the same symptoms as in the past and I fear that another hospital stay may be coming on.

I am truly sorry to hear about Trevoy going through depression.

Thanks for the last minute idea of the Princess picture. It is amazing how everyone looked and just go together last minute.:thumbsup2

:sad1: I am depressed too!!!!!:sad1: I have no one to keep me company when I can't sleep.:sad2:

Goodnews is I did talk to J.R. He was very shocked that we all remembered him.  I told him we had a few surprises for him and he was truly surprised. We are planning a meet soon as he does travel a bit and sports now that it is fall.:thumbsup2

hi everyone! we are home...without our luggage! haha!!! it was a fitting end to our trip! the beginning didn't start well, and it ended with no luggage. but the in-between was simply amazing! i'm very sad to be home...and i can't believe it's over already! i didn't get to meet many, but those that i did were so friendly! i look forward now to reading everyone's trip report, so i can relive this trip of a lifetime!

:cheer2:my niece had her baby on saturday while we were gone but came to our home today baby and mom doing great .....

Oh no, no luggage? :scared1:

Yeah, I'm still up. I was TIRED at 10:30pm (and went to bed about 11:30pm on Monday night- guess I was tired. I never went to bed before 3am on the cruise the entire time! LOL) but I've been up trying to get together the MULTITUDE of 1.5 inch & 2 inch 3 ring binders -and all the stuff each needs to have inside- that Ruby needs for highschool for every single class... I kid you not- she is going to have to take 2 of the biggest backpacks I could find when I bought them (one was supposed to be for later when the first one wore out!) to fit all these and take them both every day plus clarinet? Whatever happened to just using one really big 3 or 4 inch double 3 ring binders for all the classes? This is so ridick!!....... omg she has to take soccer practice clothes too. where will I fit those? ugh this is almost like trying to pack everything in the luggage at the end of the cruise! LOL

AND filling out the multitude of forms for my younger two. Why so many forms at the beginning of school? And why do I have to fill out all the SAME info/SAME forms for each of my younger two when they are in the same little school? argh
I literally just spent 4hrs doing this. nonstop. I'm not kidding. totally ridiculous! And I have to get up early to get everyone out to get Ruby to before school band practice at 6:45am which is also totally ridick (IMO- what happened to after school practices? I mean for real people..... she has to get up at like 4:30 to shower and get ready for that and I have to get everyone up to take her that early. give me a break band director.. puhlease) I'm seriously a bit worried how she's going to have time to do her homework! She's in all advanced placement/honors classes with band and soccer. IDK what practices and games she'll have with soccer (don't know yet) but with band it's band practice from 6:45am to school starting, Tuesday nights 6-9pm, games on Thurs and Friday nights, competitions most saturdays AND they said they'd schedule after school sectionals after the 2nd week? (this is the 2nd week btw LOL). Even just band alone I'm wondering when she's going to have time to do homework and/or sleep- add in practices and games with soccer and woo boy...... it's going to be tough!
(ps. I had no idea they put her in all AP/honors classes either. I knew she was in advanced classes last year and got credit for the algebra she took last year but IDK what I was thinking- I just didn't realize that meant she'd be in AP/honors classes in highschool too. LOL Her plate sure is full- that's all I'm saying. I don't know if she can manage all this plus all her church stuff too! And she's starting a week after everyone else. Let's all say a little prayer for Ruby please.... no joke- she's not the most organized kid by a long shot and her grades had started dropping the last half of last year.. mostly from not turning in her homework that she had completed! She does it and then loses it in her binder/backpack and/or forgets to turn it in till it's too late. I'm a bit worried with her having so much on her plate AND in honors classes.....)

So I'm off for a FEW Z's, not many but a few.
My stomach is grumbling and sure wishing I could call room service right about now. LOL where's that number....... darn it's not on this phone! :lmao:

Hey, was I the only one totally surprised by the jewelry/etc. boxes we got on the last night? Did everyone else already know we'd get those (or something) that night? Just curious. LOL I think they totally rock- (but pretty much anything they gift me totally rocks LOL) the only way they could be better is to have MICKEY on them instead of just Chip & Dale. LOL What did the WB'ers get?

The times they had things open to eat didn't always work so well. If you had breakfast late in topsiders- you'd have to eat lunch again in topsiders pretty quickly after that... since it closed at 2pm (on the dot!). And I don't know why they closed breakfast at 10:30 some days and 11am some days. I just didn't get why they did that and sometimes it surprised me and then it was oops- no breakfast for BIP. Then they'd have food options on deck 9 closed till 6pm or some of them opening at 9:30pm- it just didn't all work good for our schedules and also didn't work well when trying to feed your kids before your dining time (cause they didn't want to eat with us in the dining room at 8pm and we weren't forcing them this time remember...)
Room service was good but sometimes took awhile and ofcourse the choices are limited- or atleast they appear to be so. I never was sure exactly what you could ask for- the menu they have is very limited but seemed like you could ask for other things since a couple of times we asked for different things not on there and they delivered it (like chocolate milk, the mickey bars ofcourse, chicken strips, etc.)
And on atleast one formal night (that I noticed- might have happened other nights too) they didn't even have topsiders as an option. So I guess you either go formal night or you eat junk food on deck 9. Kinda forced you into eating in the dining room on formal night, IMO.

Dining times just don't work well for us. Even this time with the kids not eating with us- they didn't like eating with the club (especially Rita because they preplate so she couldn't choose what she wanted) and having to find ways to feed them and get ready for our dining time was difficult. I honestly think that as much fun as we had with our tablemates we really just want to do -like we planned in the first place- just eating topsiders every night. Then we can just eat all our meals together without one specific time to have to do so. and I guess we'll eat junk food on formal night since that's all that is available. LOL

I know which night you are talking about as it was the last formal night and I was pretty sick. Our tablemates were going to Palo, but I didn't feel like another meal there. We just didn't find the food there as good as usual. However, Topsiders in fact was open. They forgot to list it in the Navigator apparently and we thought we would just do room service. Turned out to be our best meal of the cruise. They made a fresh grilled (took awhile even...) Porterhouse steak that was really, really good and warm which was rare on this cruise it seemed. We were disappointed in the food quality overall. Perhaps our standards have just gotten higher over the years.

Just a reminder we have the photo sharing site at http://thepiratezone.smugmug.com

Several people are already uploading some great pics!

Also, the Pirate Night photo, courtesy of Ed Martin and his wife can be viewed/downloaded at http://www.rgpweb.com/PirateZone.jpg

Many many huge thanks to them for all they did!

You can access instructions on uploading/downloading to the photo sharing at http://www.thepiratezone.us/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=305

You can also e-mail photos to the site at thepiratezone@email.smugmug.com but you must put Pirate in the subject line (nothing else)

Good Morning from Nassau.....

Just arrived at Nassau, really hoping we make it back to CC on Friday, we just have to wait and see what Hanna does. I should be updating my blog this evening. We have the Pirate Party tonight......;)

Just thought I'd drop by and say hello.

Had lunch with Todd and Melissa yesterday on CC.

Hazel and I have dinner each night with Becky(minnieandmickey). Having a great time. Should be updating my blog later this evening. Will be getting off the ship in a little bit. Angelina asked us to see if we could a special t-shirt for her here in Nassau.

Bye for Now.......:wave2:

We made it out of MCO on time with a flight full of DIS'ers - all headed to DFW and then on to connecting flights to various home cities.

We got home around 8pm and dined in Parrot Cay....oops well it should have been on the rotation, but we made do with or local mexican restauant.

Thanks again to all he folks who made this truly a TOAL.

I'll make a first pass though the pics and stat uploading later in the week.
First up will be the vids of the transit, Jolly Pirates and Castaway Cay.

Andy
CAn't wait, I already downloaded the HD Miraflores pics someone took the time to load. They are great! Just finished burning the last disc opf pics off the laptop. Now to sort everything out :lmao:

I agree, it was awful.

That was one of the "Great Shows" I dragged DH down to see. It was awful. And to think people were buying his cd of songs!!!!!!! What, are they deaf??????

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I don't agree with all of her politics, but let this be a warning to America - never, ever get in the way of a hockey mom!

I should call Sarah to see if she wants to borrow my Tink wings. She has the right hair. She could fly around during the balloon drop and the convention. :tink:

I never got a chance to ask you about that. The wing visual, priceless.

Pools with better access such as steps!
A toilet that isn't squeezed in a corner.

And that accepts your KTTW card instead of quarters

DS apartment complex has those. The machines do not take $. He has to load it up at the office. It would make more sense. If I get my follow up email from GS regarding the comments I made I will include that suggestion. Great one!

Chrissie

Chrissie so sorry:grouphug: . I noticed last night on the ride home my a/c didn't kick in and my temp gauge moved up. It worked during the day. Will check the level in the radiator this am. What a lousy day yesterday.

Busy day today. It was supposed to be Trevoy's first day of school, but for some reason, the school he's supposed to be going to doesn't have his records. The school he went to for most of last year doesn't have them. And a 3rd school, which is technically the one we're supposed to go to according to our address, says they don't have them either. Although I've gotten the automated phone messages from this 3rd school. Fortunately he has the same teacher this year as he had last year, and she knows he's supposed to be in her class. He'll be starting tomorrow, whether or not they find his records.

Still haven't gotten any of my mail. There may be something in there about the school situation, but since I had a vacation hold on, I haven't gotten anything yet. Our mail delivery is usually late in the afternoon. But I can't remember if I scheduled today as my return day or tomorrow.

No news on the job yet. No phone calls or emails from them.

Came home to some sad family news. Found out my uncle passed away. Tough timing (well it's always tough) but this past weekend was our family reunion. None of his part of the family were there. We always referred to him as our "Fearless Leader" since he was the eldest of my dad's siblings. He lost his wife of 60+ years about 6 months ago and deteriorated rapidly after that. Broken heart I believe. Wish I could go to the services but I have no one to take care of Trevoy.

:grouphug:

Okay, it is now official . . . at least at this point in time.

The captain came on over the public address during dinner time and announced that, as they are tracking Hurricane Hanna, there has been a shift to the track and that we will now be going to Nassau, Bahamas tomorrow (Wednesday). He said that if we did not go tomorrow, we would not be able to go at all this week because they are expecting the bad weather to hit Nassau tomorrow evening/night.

What that means for us making Castaway Cay on Friday still remains a mystery.

But, at this point in time -- and we all know that can change in a moment's notice, we are back on for Nassau tomorrow.

Here is the letter from Captain Tom Forberg, captain of the Disney Magic, which was waiting for us in our staterooms after this evening's show:

Dear Disney Magic Guests:

We trust you had an enjoyable day today at Disney's Castaway Cay.

As many of you may be follopwing the current predictions for Tropical Storm Hanna, I wanted to let you know that we too are closely monitoring the storm's progress. Since the storm's predicted path has now shifted south westerly, we have decided to return to our originally scheduled itinerary for your sailing.

Therefore, tomorrow we will visit Nassau and have our scheduled day at sea on Thursday as we remain a safe distance from the storm. Our itinerary for the remainder of the week will be as follows:

Tuesday - Disney's Castaway Cay
Wednesday - Nassau, The Bahamas
Thursday - Day at Sea
Friday - Disney's Castaway Cay
Saturday - Port Canaveral, Florida

Please know that we will continue to monitor the system as it moves through the Bahamas and appreciate your cooperation and understanding during these inclement weather conditions.

Again, thank you for sailing with us.

Sincerely,
/s/ Captain Tom Forberg
Disney Magic

Have the seas calmed down for you yet???? Hope the rest of the trip is uneventful. Great meeting you.

Just want to start out by saying that I met some absolutely fantastic people & it made my cruise truly a Trip of a Lifetime!!! From excursions, hanging by the pool or late nights at Diversions....I always had someone wonderful to chat with & I can't thank you all enough! So sorry about DS! My DS is running a high fever & is coughing up a storm. School starts tomorrow and I'd hate for him to miss the first day. I hope his fever breaks. :guilty:

1) Keep diversions open for ADULTS until at least 2am. Trying to find a place to drink & chat with some great friends at night was ridiculous!

2) Go back to the old menus! I thought the food was repetitive, unimaginative & not very good. About the only thing I enjoyed at dinner was the bread. The steak dishes were usually okay, but everytime I veered away to try something new, I didn't like it. The baby scallops were chewy & fishy tasting & they showed up frequently in any seafood dish I ordered. Desserts weren't that good either. I still managed to gain a ton of weight though. Go figure!

3) I agree about the laundry rooms. Bigger & more convenient.

4) Better family pool area with slides, water features, etc.

5) An all night cafe that serves finger/snack foods.

So sorry to hear about Petey!

We still have the cruddy cough. It is getting better. Hope the fever goes away.

I so agree with the menus. DH loves scallops and so do I but they weren't cooked enough. And a lot of the selections were just ok. Not what I expected in the food. I'm going to sneak into the nurses station today to weigh in.:scared1:

Oh man! And we made the kids eat junk food from deck 9- couldn't even have pizza because that was closed at that time. I guess next time we need to check topsiders in case they just forgot to put it on the navigator. LOL

Nice to hear from you! Hope you have a great day today and make it to CC also!

A toilet that isn't squeezed in a corner.
:lmao:
Amen to that!
I told Jeff I'm more comfortable in some of the public restrooms than in the one in our room- it's a tight squeeze in some toilets though..... right against a corner. LOL

Hope you feel better soon!

It's interesting that this is mentioned about the selections. I kept commenting that for some reason I seemed to be leaning towards the seafood selections on the menu and then about the 11th or 12th night DH leaned over to me(after I said that again) and whispered um Shell, it's because that's pretty much all there is to choose besides steak every night. LOL He likes steak and lamb so that's pretty much what he had almost every night. LOL

Sooo....does anyone else wish there weren't quite so many Jolly Pirates pitures???

I was skimming on my crackberry which has issues with multiquote, but all of you who returned to bad news and difficult times are in my thoughts and prayers. I'd even hug ya if I could.

Kids survived the first day of school on 5 hours sleep. They also started a new after school program at a taekwondo school - much spendy-er than the county-run program they were in last year, but there was a lot of bullying and not a lot of actual "care" going on, so this will be worth it (I hope). Then they had 90 minute hockey practices last night. Both coaches talked to us after practice and said they thought the kids would be behind, but they did great, even on 5 hours sleep and no skating for 3 weeks. Both teams started practice the weekend we left for TOAL, so they missed a bunch.

We are still getting dressed in the morning from open suitcases in the living room. Tonight is laundry & unpacking night...because tomorrow and Friday are hockey again...Saturday the kids play in jamborees (like a really fast tournament with 15 minute games) in 2 different towns...Sunday is the start of football season, so that means church followed by 4-ish hours at the Browns Backers sports bar.
Then it will be Monday again. Ugh - I need a vacation.

I'll be lugging my laptop to the rink and the football game so I can edit photos. I have a ton to go through.

that doesn't seem so far off when you put it that way.

Long enough to recruit new servers. :thumbsup2

Morning all! Back at work. Amazingly, not a big pile of work waiting. :thumbsup2 Still in withdrawls.

Monica, sorry to hear about Trevoy. Hope things get better.

We could have another mini meet next year!!!

I'm game! You and John are great! We may be taking a train ride to Chicago the week after Christmas. Not sure yet.

Of course we remember JR.

Chrissie

So sorry to hear about Petey.:grouphug:

Monica hope that Trevoy can work through this. You will both be in our prayers.

Sooo....does anyone else wish there weren't quite so many Jolly Pirates pictures???

Cherie has been watching over my shoulder telling me which ones I can post :rotfl2: . Seems I have several of you in compromising positions that I will email to you or save for the 12/5's first pirate run.

Just a reminder we have the photo sharing site at http://thepiratezone.smugmug.com

Several people are already uploading some great pics!

:scared1: Just saw that someone uploaded the speedo parade...My apologies to those blinded by me :flower3:

Thanks to those who returned entries for the FE Pirate "Poker" Run. We had around 45 entries returned. I posted the results on our door, but since it was the end of the cruise, thought most wouldn't have seen, so I'll list them here. We actually had a "Five of a Kind" submitted by our wonderful tablemates Deanna (buckifan) and Rob. We made them "Honorary" Pirate Kings as they weren't really FE participants, but we wanted to share with them some of the fun. We awarded them a nice DCL Pirate Photo Frame. Of the FE participants, the awards were:

PIRATE KING: Tiger24 with a Full House (3 Queens, 2 Kings). Awarded: An antique deck of Souvenir Panama Canal Playing Cards. Printed in 1926, these were very nice. They had images of the construction of the canal and images of early transits. The suit of Spades featured early 1920's images of U.S. battleships transitting the canal. You could tell the story of Pearl Harbor with these cards, as the Arizona, Maryland, West Virginia, Tennessee and others all passed through the Canal and were imaged in this set. I showed these to Captain Puckett (apologies if I have his name wrong) who was doing the Canal presentations all week. He had seen many of the images through the national archives, but wasn't aware that they were at one time printed on souvenir playing cards. So he mentioned he'd be checking out e-bay when he got home.:) He was a super interesting guy. I saw him up on top deck after the mexican deck party as my DD9 and Rob's DD8 wanted to stay for the Cheetah Girl premiere. I asked him if he was from Ohio because he really seemed to talk up Ohio's part in constructing the canal. He seemed surprised, but said "Yes, I'm from east of Columbus." He sat down and chatted for the next 1-1/2 hours while we waited out the Cheetah girl movie.

COMMODORE: Fincantieri with a Flush. Awarded a deck of cards with the group's "DIS & Captain Jack Arrrr Back" logo on the back of the cards.

CAPTAIN: 4FosterKids with a Straight. Also received a deck of cards with the group's logo.

CHARTMAN: Tina (I believe ID is CastawayTina?). She submitted the worst hand with a Jack being the high card. We awarded her a Captain Jack Sparrow Pirate Flag.

Thanks again to all who played along. We had a fun time planning it and it sounded like many of you enjoyed it.

It's so neat reading posts after meeting so many of you in person. I can "hear" your voices.

Thank you all for making this cruise so incredible! I want to do it all over again. I wish we could plan another 15 night cruise reunion. I know many of you were anxious to get home, but we could have stayed longer.

Rob and I were commenting on how many wonderful people we met. Thanks for all of the fun times in Rockin Bar D, Diversions, by the pool, on the beach, etc.

I'm almost finished with unpacking and laundry. Next is going through photos to see what is worth sharing. I'm not a great photographer, but I think I got some decent shots.

Went to the grocery store yesterday, and stocked up on soups and "quick meals". I just can't bear the thought of having to cook just yet.

Roger......that was so fun seeing you guys as we left the terminal. Our kids LOVED your girls! They have been telling their friends at home all about the new friends they met on the cruise.

Here are a few photos of our kids together.

Joel.....the frame was SOOOO nice! Thank you once again for it. And thanks also for the lovely FE gifts you guys left from every port. You all were so generous and thoughtful. Kylie and Drew really got a kick out of the surprises.

I still can't believe we ended up with 5 of a kind. Drew thought you were giving us good cards on purpose! The poker run was a lot of fun, and several people mentioned to me how much they enjoyed it. Very clever!

I have so many photos to share with you....we will have to just burn them on a disc. There are tons with Kylie and the girls. Kylie told me she kept calling her friends at school "Christa" yesterday. She said it happened at least 3 times. She said she was just so used to saying her name the last couple of weeks! :goodvibes
