Tony is doing laundry and draining the hotel tub and I am catching up on work and preparing to bring our quaker parrot to the sitter's (the cats are staying in the house). Online check-in happens tonight...thank goodness Tony is A-List so he'll have a good boarding pass number and can snare me a seat.

The excitement is building to fever pitch!

It is good to hear, after all of the cruises you have been on, you still get this excited. And this one will be EXTRA special!

How about the pretending to wash the hands trick. That is so old they had it on a "Leave it to Beaver" episode

And the swish some mouth wash instead of brushing the teeth

And the "I did my homework at school Mom" or "No homework today".

It's gonna be a long decade

I am cracking up!!!!! For 10yrs my neice and nephews lived with us during the summer months....... My nephew would tell me he had brushed his teeth and wasn't even smart enough to wet the toothbrush!

I so wish dh had joined in on the chats or board!!! He was reading the board all last year (when I wasn't) and would tell me different things he read.
And when I started posting he would email me and ask me where I learned to type & spell and my grammar skils left something to be desired.....

He is WAY more fun then me!!! He is funny (I am not).

I was going to say, you would not have to twist my dh's arm to have a drink with him. I wish my dh had participated on the boards as well. He is VERY easy to get along with. He has a very easy going personality.

And Steph......you are funny! I don't think you even realize it. For instance, I don't think you meant it as a joke, but you were cracking me up when you were talking about telling your dd to call you because "someone is dead". I thought maybe it was inappropiate to LOL at that....but I found it hysterical.

No, I'm here! I'm attempting to finish my door signs and banner for the PC.

I've been working on them for days. I need to go to AC Moore and get magnetic tape tomorrow.

I am so glad to hear I'm not the only one still working on door magnets! Boys think I'm crazy but when I told them I'm trying to win the "prize" for the best decorated door that shut them up for a while

I want to know if all of our new arrivals brought us this humidity? It actually rained here last night. I does not rain in So Cal during the summer, ever!

Just getting us ready for the PC. In 2005 it rained most of the day during the transit but the temp was still 105. We were happy to have the rain! My girlfriend was on the WB 2005 repo and althought the weather was slightly cooler they had full sun all day long and were miserable!

Well I am at work but the good news is I run to the other room to throw some stuff in the suitcase every now and then.
I guess I can print out my boarding pass this afternoon too.

I work from home and haven't got much work done this week because I get up every five minutes to put stuff in the pile Today is the day I make sure all the "stuff" will actually fit in the suitcases. We don't leave until Sunday.

My friend was so embarressed to tell me that when her son slept over at our house he left his toothbrush here- for a week...

Well let's see what I have done the last hour.
I got an IM from my boss asking if I had 10 minutes. My mind goes into overdrive. It's Friday before I go on vacation, our company is re-structuring processes (not the company) call me paranoid but I was nervous calling.
It was a simple "How are you feeling?" kind of thing. My company wants to know "feelings" a lot. Guess it is better than a "we don't care about your feelings" company. A total "we are very happy with you- what can we do for you?" call.

Boy, isn't that the truth! Some great lightening and rain a little north, on the news. I swear its the cruise gods preparing us So Cal's for the weather! lol Its been a very odd summer.

I had a ball meeting a whole bunch of dis'ers at the Electrical Parade meet last night. It was a really pretty night out too.

Off to get my hair cut this morning. DD gets hers cut at noon and then the packing will offically begin. Somehow all my empty suitcases must now fit my piles of clothes and "STUFF". It should be interesting.

I really did do that. When I think back on it I laugh, too. It was only this past year!
She is terrible about returning phone calls and I had to think of a way for her to call me back without telling her who was dead -- since she had already told me to stop doing that!

When my now 17dd was 9 she went to GS camp.... Her big sister and I both told her *You HAVE to brush your hair everyday!!!* The first thing she says to us when she gets in the car (with a very smug look on her face) *I didn't brush my hair the entire time.*

He usually needs a few drinks in him to loosen up -- he is really shy and self conscience about stuff. I am not.
