Yeah!! I finally started packing! All this extra carp won't leave me much room for clothes. My DH has packed most of his things but didn't leave any room for all of the needed extra items......so - we gotta do some rearranging tomorrow.... I will make sure he feels my pain!!! :lmao: :lmao:

Gee.... 10x 8 gig EX III .... plus some dbl DVDs and the laptop.

I'm sort of new to this - and my thinking is pretty simplistic by comparison.

I have ONE 8 gig EX II (class 4) ... I don't have a dbl DVD burner so I'm relying on an 80Gig external HD which I had laying about. I kno... this only gives me 8 hours in HQ... but I was thinking I'd shoot in the low quality mode to allow me roughly 16 hours using 64 GB... allowing 8 GB for still image storage and 8GB for unused HD space. My notebook has no space which I'd use for major storage... the unallocated space is for working with files and swap.

I'm gonna need a bigger external HD... and if I had more time I would maybe go out and BUY one. But I'll try to conform to these limits. I'll have up to 1 hour a day to record while I'm traveling.

I'm doing the TOAL loaded for bear photo/camera wise. I might never do the Canal again, hence the tech overkill.

If they don't make it I'm not sure it matters we did our online checkin it's just the luggage tags we have to worry about.Found the 5 day info for what's going on on that cruise.

We can get extra luggage tags at the port. I think we should be good to go.

What do you have to pack for that? I would end up having 15 suitcases there wouldn't be any room left in my room to sleep. Does sound like fun. No cooking no cleaning for that many days.

you're sooo funny!

Genny... you've met my spouse and .... CAN YOU TELL... given the opportunity... and if she thought she could get me to lug it for her (BECAUSE heaven forbid she hire a porter to haul her gear when she can get her husband to do it FREE).... given the opp ALicia WOULD indeed pack TWENTY huge suitcases! As my family Dog is my witness... she's over loaded me many a time when we traveled!

Leaving for the Airport 10:30. However......... due to the lack of help  I realized I really shoud renew my tags tomorrow as it will be expired when we get back and they love to pull you over. Also have to stop at the bank and get some cash and pay the mid month bills and set up the other thru billpay. Guess I will be ready to rest on the plane. Charging some gadgets. By the way. I have a scale I will taking so please add me to the list. I have been MIA from the boards the last few days so hopefully Cheryl will fill me in. Hope to see some familiar faces at the Hojo tomorrow. Have the laptop and will check in............. Witing for the laundry to complet so I can crash.

See you at HoJo this afternoon !!

It's made up of 8 long, eggroll-like sticks with chocolate and peanut butter inside. It included a dish of melted caramel and crumbled toffee bits around the dish. Just dunk it in the caramel and stick the toffee bits to it! YUM!

man, that sounds great

Hi

I am wide awake it is 3:41 LA time and 6:41 est... :lmao:

The flight out here was awesome slept all the way.. :lmao:

Burbank studio tour was unbelievable..ate lunch at the commissary from there we went to WDI.. Shopped at the imagineering store.. Hit LA traffic  ..Check in HoJo's. went shopping water, etc.. did not get to go to EP... but got back to the room just in time to see the fireworks...

We should be at Disneyland today might leave for a couple of hours to go to the Cast Member store CD... the weather been awesome so far..

See you real soon..

 WHY has she been holding on to them????

It's her way. She's really nice but I've grown to assume I'm just not going to get anything from in the way of papers and then if I do, it's a nice surprise. ;)

What time do people think we should get there, if we still need to book Palos? I have a dinner for departure night, but I'd like to get that switched and pick up a brunch if I can.

Good moring all - sitting here at Orlando International waiting for our flight to LA. This is the best way to spend an hour and I don't even have to feel guilty for Dising and not cleaning and packing. Sent oldest DD and grandkids on their way home yesterday and went into super packing mode -- I had been stacking things up for a couple of weeks and don't even remember half of what I packed. Had to pay for an additional suitcase even with Southwest's 2 free policy. Told DH it was because of his new tux. Didn't even mention the number of shoes DD and I just had to have.

Can't wait to touch down in LAX -- it's a trip down memory lane for me -- I flew out of LAX for United almost 40 years ago. As I get older I forget the age but every once and a while when I have to remember who, what or when I did something -- that number just sounds impossible.

Well, think I'll go back to trying to catch up. See all you who are staying at the port today or tomorrow and the rest of you at the terminal. Safe and sane trips to all.

Barbara

hi Laurie
Hey Lisa:yay:

My mind knew that but, my fingers didn't! :rotfl2: I was even singing it while typing!!! :lmao:

I'm a wee bit sllloooww sometimes! That comes from having 5 children -- and 3 have been through their teenage years -- so, my mind is like mush from listening to all thelies I've been told.... :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Ok, I was hoping the lying was gonna stop soon when they realized it was healthier to tell the truth;)

I just took the great wall of chocolate up to the curb side trash.
What strength:worship:
Reminds me of the Sex in the City episode where Cynthia Nixon throws the chocolate cake in the trash and realizes she's addicted:lmao:

Ours here came with a peanutbutter flavored caramel for dunking the sticks in prior to the toffee pieces, otherwise the same:cloud9: The kids loved it. I loved it too:lovestruc

Honestly, you are 100% correct!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
You are the first person I've met that has the same birthday.
Go pices:thumbsup2
