Hi Gang,

Where I took the dogs this morning wasn't actually a dog park but an open space area right on the S.F. bay - on the East Bay side w/a spectacular view of the City. It's huge and its okay for the dogs to run off leash. My 2 had such a blast - lots of dogs - none were aggressive. My 20month old German Shepherd played w/a 16 month old standard poodle - and of course I didn't bring my camera. Both dogs have crashed - happy pups.

My to-do list is getting really small - a few odds & ends to do - then pack. Okay - now I'm starting to think that I must have forgotten something!! What happened to my new motto - Stress Less!!!!!

I now have 1000 posts - when I first posted here I think I had maybe 10 posts!! I don't post that much - but I guess more than I realized!

Time for a pre-dinner cocktail - then I'm fixing a quick stir-fry.

We can stand next to each other then.....DD did a great job on my hair EXCEPT she cut my bangs a good inch and a half shorter then I ever wear them! UGH!!! I wear my bangs really long -- it covers more of my lines!!! -- now they are too short and I have to wear them brushed back... I look OLD! By the end of the trip they will be long enough to wear like I like them........

I was thinking about getting mine cut a little SHORTER than usual tomorrow- because my hair grows fast and if I get it cut "just right" tomorrow- by Sept 1st they will be too long and when mine get too long- I clip them over with a barrette and it's not pretty. LOL But I can't TAKE hair in my eyes. Honestly I have issues with hair on my face (hence always pulled back or atleast the longer hair behind my ears- not my sideswept bangs though LOL) I think it's from years of having to have my hair back for work. I dunno.

So maybe I'll have short bangs with you gals- just to prevent having "too long" bangs by the end of the TOAL!

I have to get Robert's hair cut REALLY short either on Saturday or I'll check to see if she'll be there this monday and do it last thing. IOW I have to get his cut really short and thinned out a lot too- at the very last moment- so he doesn't look like he's got that skater hairdo by the end of the cruise. His hair grows as fast as mine ever did.. and mine still grows fast but his grows like mine USED to when I was younger.. like a weed, that fast. seriously. LOL He can go 2-3wks and look like he hasn't had a haircut in 6mo atleast. it's totally ridiculous. I can only squeeze him out to 4wk haircuts by using Jeff's clippers on the "sideburn" area (to keep him from having hair that comes down like sideburns) and on the back neck area. But his hair is so thick and his head is so BIG that within weeks after having his hair cut and thinned- it looks like a bowl haircut or something. a really big bowl. LOL

all our hair grows fast. I got Rita's hair cut 2wks ago and now her bangs are in her eyes again. ugh I wish there was a vitamin or something to take to SLOW DOWN their hair growth. I need to take a loan out to get all our haircuts. LOL

Sounds like a plan - and for those of you asking about the Cupid's Shuffle - its a dance they did EVERY NIGHT in Rocking Bar D. You can go to iTunes and down load a song and video and instructional video for $2.49. I downloaded to "refresh" this brain only to have both dd's say - I could have taught you. April learned it last August during the Med Repo and Megan learned it this July. Oh - youth is definitely wasted on the young. My endeavor this trip? To be one of the last standing in Rocking Bar D! Cheryl you with me on this one?

so, I am insanely happy to report that I won't be lugging work onto the cruise & I won't be walkin' around with a gun to my head.

I handed in my first pass of the business plan... success!!

Wendy's Fries - cart located outside of the Peter Pan, but you can only eat them if you're thinking happy thoughts.

In & Out Fries - Cart located at the park entrance - must get your hand stamped when ordering.

Bob's Big Boy Fries - Must be over 4' 6" to purchase.

Burger King Fries - Must pull sword from the stone in Fantasy Land to purchase.

Popeye's Fries - Each order costs $1500 - $1.00 for the fries and $1499.00 to settle the trademark violation suit for having a non-Disney character appear in Disneyland.

Cool, we can sit together. I don't talk until I've been up for 2-3 hours and had 1/2 a pot of coffee.

On the upside of healthy....you will be able to find more drink options at the outdoor carts in DL including Vitamin Water, Smart Water and an energy drink, along with the usual soda's. I am not a big soda drinker, and one of my kids cannot have soda, so these are better options without having to go out of our way. Funny thing is the Smart water is 3.75 for the typical ?20ish ounce bottle, and I just picked upthe super tall 33 oz bottles at Pavillion for a buck each...yikes!!

I know DL is really pushing to get transfat free, yet still giving you yummy snacks and food.

I eat pretty healthy about 50 weeks a year. I'M ON VACATION!!! With all the carp you are still serving, why oh why did you get rid of the Neslte Choc Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich??? That's one of those things that are available in other places, but I only let myself have one in WDW.

Cinnabon is another. Only in airports. It's my reward for the hassle of flying.

I accidentally edited out part I was going to reply to also. LOL The part about the hair- I got mine cut shorter recently and while I have always always always had super straight hair (even perms didn't want to take the first 3 times- stuff like that) it seems lately I have hair that easily frizzes (possibly due to the fact that I have to get highlights/lowlights now that my hair is coming out super dark when I'm used to having blonde hair my whole life? LOL) and now that it's short if I like get out of the pool and it dries naturally (ala waterpark hairdo) it curls up! INteresting to say the least. LOL
I hope both our hair-dids (LOL you know- got my hair-did instead of hair-do) turn out great tomorrow.

Oh and yes, I want to put my kids in bubbles. We're leaving in a few days and I'm just counting the minutes that someone doesn't get hurt...... no broken bones or stitches please!

I got my hair cut and dyed today. I really love the color, but I doubt it will last as it is red.

I already fractured the 5th metatarsal bone in my foot. So I hope that is all the fractures and broken bones for everyone cruising.

In one week, I will be on the plane to LAX. Suitcases are finally downstairs. I gotta start packing. Lots to do little time.

Oh, did I mention the fact that DH and the girls (human) decided it would be safer for them to go and spend a few days in CO with the in-laws. I am starting to get into my packing and cleaning mode and so they came up with this great idea of spending time with "grandpa." - how much this has to do with my neighbor dying? I was very proud of the fact that Megan and I went to both the wake, viewing and funeral together. It was rather nice to see the gratitude on their faces just for simply showing up.

Made me reminsce on the fact that us humans do not do much visiting time together and unfortunately have to discover this fact only upon a wake, so my endoeavor this cruise? To party up and have a good time with my friends, new and old! So you all are invited to spend time with me making memories!!!! The more the merrier and by the way, it won't hurt to learn the Cupid Shuffle!

oh do not dismay....The Chipwich...aka Tollhouse Ice Cream Sandwich is back again and Transfat free now! Woohoo.......It was gone for about 6 months while Nestle "fixed" it and tastes better then ever!

Now if you are a Nestle crunch ice cream bar lover...rumor has it...IT has now been pulled until they "fix" that one to be transfat free
