I'm guessing it'll be like our last WDW trip for us... I had to wash DDs clothes in the tub almost every night to keep them from staining!! So that's actually my plan. Hopefully I won't have to do it that often though...

Ahhh...the joys of traveling with a toddler! I'll be bringing laundry soap and 2-3 different types of stain remover and will probably be doing the same thing. (Although, to tell you the truth, my 10.5 year old can be just as messy as my 21 month old!)

I just got an email from my friend who is visiting China. Her daughter is in the one of the High School bands that will be performing in the Olympic opening ceremonies. They got to 'play' (perform) in Tiananmen Square the other day. She said that this is a great experience but can't wait to come home.

Very cool. A friend's daughter's band got invited, but they decided that even with fund raisers, the students would not be able to afford it. What a shame. That would have been a true TOAL.

You send postcards to people? LOL! We go on vacation and I forget about everything and everyone else.

We sent a couple from Australia on our honeymoon... Like 1 to everyone in our families and each of our dogs... My parents (dogsitters) got a kick out of that! But usually we don't send postcards. Normally we're back before they get to their destination anyway!

Sure...it's our way of saying..I'm on vacation and you're not!

I'm teasing ... DD likes to send them to her friends.

One relatively easy way to send postcards from the ship (especially if you have a laptop): http://www.premiumpostcard.com/

I used them on the Med cruise - using photos from the cruise for the cards. It was great.

Although I did remember at CC last time.... and both times we went to CC on that trip the post office wasn't open! (one time sunday, other time was a holiday there or something) Figures the one time I remember, I can't send it!

Remember, we will be on CC on a Sunday for this cruise too.....bummer!

Oh No! Have spent the last 4 days in the hospital with DH. Drs. say he had a TIA (mini stroke). No lasting difficulties that we know of, but still running lots of tests. Hope they okay us for the cruise. Everything is bought and DD10 is already packed. I have lots that won't get done. Might be the worst dressed but as long as we're on the cruise...

I hope no one is paying attention to tan lines- although I don't have a dress like that. I have what they call around these parts the "cowboy tan"- which means white where the shirt normally is- tan everywhere else on the arms/etc. LOL PLUS I also wear a very plain swimsuit that covers the most areas of my body with wide straps at the top- stays on at the waterparks and stuff really well.... not so good for tan lines. So please don't pay any mind to my weird tan (plus my arms NEVER TAN on the underside- no matter what AND my legs are totally white but the area from capris -that I wear most of the time- down to tan lines from my flipflops crocs is darker- just pay no mind please LOL)

And here in the midwest - that is a "Farmer's Tan"! Unfortunately, I have a good one of those and also some stripes from my swimsuit. Do any of the creams/sprays that supposedly give you a tan actually work or do they just look weird. I think I'd rather have my strange tan lines than orange skin!

Let's not forget with everyone leaving this week ( not me ) we need to get to thread 14 so I don't talk to myself here.

Don't feel bad! We're not leaving until Sat., 8/16 ! Trust me, there was a lot of grumbling on my part and a lot of dirty looks on my parents' part....

Which is totally disenchanting. We've had many a dealing with them lately that has lead to our disappoint and going about customer service, in a Rusty Duritz from that Disney movie "The Kid" voice, "What happened?!?!" We just can't believe that Disney is not all about the customer as it has been in the past. It's truly, truly upsetting.

I made up so many magnets, I'll have to switch them out periodically. I just couldn't decide!
