Hey, I thought NJ was usually the lowest, or at least close to it. Got it for $3.75 here today.

I don't like to put bumper stickers or magnets on my car, but there is one I really want:

JERSEY GIRLS DON'T PUMP GAS

Haha, I don't live in Jersey, but I live close enough to the border, so I never pump gas...ever.

So when I went to school in Westchester and told them I didn't know how to pump gas, they were like what? I told them, I live near Jersey. I don't pump my own gas!!!

Save some for us after the speedo parade, I think we will all need some :lmao:

From TSA Website

Well that is clear as mud (or peanut butter).
I'm not bringing a jar of peanut butter. I want to bring a few sandwiches. I'm not real excited about $12 airport sandwiches.

But good to know it is safe to fly with spray cheese. :thumbsup2

That was my favorite thing about NJ when I used to visit a friend there regularly. I was amazed because in my town in NY if you went to a full service station it was nearly 20 cents more!

It will be much easier with him there. I was soooo close to canceling the whole thing when he first said he couldn't go. Now the problem is when we leave. I told him I found a great deal on the 14th and he said, and I quote,

"What time does the ship leave? We can get a flight that morning."
:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

:scared1: Um...don't you know that they moved the sail date to the 15th? ;)

Gotta agree with that! Just got back from MD today, and I waited until the last minute to get gas as I can't stand pumping my own! My 15 YO son did not get what the big deal was, but obviously I'm not the only one!

Can't exactly answer your question, but I can tell you that I have taken sausage, egg and cheese burritos, fried chicken, egg rolls, and pizza through security and on the plane with no issue (all on different flights though...that would be an interesting meal if it were all on the same one.)

You would need a strong antacid....

I was just reading a post about the temperature in staterooms. Honestly, I don't remember, but how much can you control the temperature? We don't have a verandah, so, opening the doors is not an option :)

We always pick up some of the lunchables but will have to get the ones without the drinks this time. DH & I will pack a couple of subs for the flight to CA.

Do they ever talk about something other than the intern program in the chat? This is the first time I've been in there, but it sounds like a reunion place more than anything.

If you mean the DIS chat, there are themes for each night of the week.

The chat that our thread does is on the Pirate Zone. Not sure if anyone is in there right now, I'm already overlapping too much as it is. Can't add another thing for me to pay attention to.

Oh, thanks. I didn't know there were two places to chat. I was tired about reading about drunk roommates!!

Topics in chat change every 10 mins or so, unless we are talking about cake, bacon or drinks. :rotfl2:

On one of my recent flights from LAX - a security person was walking around w/an empty pizza box and announcing that it was okay to bring food through security - just no liquids (such as water/soda/etc) - I always bring food. Once I brought a plasitc container w/yogurt that passed thru - although I wouldn't suggest doing that. But sandwiches - sure - w/ Matt we always bring lots of food/snacks.

Travel Question:

Are peanut butter and jelly sandwiches classified as a liquid, gel or cream?

I can tell you they made me toss my yogurt and cottage cheese when I flew the other year. They were considered to be a liquid.

Well I think I will be through a box of tissues by the time the day is through. I did get the vacuum put together and tried it out. So far I like it; it was one of the best ranked ones on Consumer Reports and got good marks for pet hair. I also got 3 loads of laundry done. :cool1:

Monica - What night is group Palo dinner - Acapulco? I can't recall and could not find on the Pirate Zone. I ask because my Palo dinner reservation that I made on booking night is gone, so guessing they took it back because we got the room. I remember you mentioning you thought we got it but were not 100% sure since it was via email rather than a phone call like others got. I just want to add it to my schedule. Thanks!

Hey leave me out of it....;)

Pack? Pack what??:confused3

The PLANE TICKETS of course:lmao:

Well I gotta run. DD needs to read (don't ask me what she wants to read about) all about the book (Breaking Dawn) she finished reading. Got it at midnight last night and she worked since noon today, but somehow she managed to read all 754 pages of it already. She just informed me she was done in 16 hours of getting it with sleep and work in there.:upsidedow

Actually there is a sign saying not to leave your verandah door open. There are individual thermostats in the rooms. We haven't had a problem keeping ours comfortable in the past. :)
