I highly recommend it! It was probably our best vacation ever (I know... gasp). The beauty of it all was just amazing. I stood on deck one day when we were in Glacier Bay and cried because it was so beautiful. I couldn't help thinking that it might not be there much longer. We plan to go again on our own. I wish we could do the Adventures by Disney trip, but if we are going to try to have a little one next year, that won't work.
On one of my recent flights from LAX - a security person was walking around w/an empty pizza box and announcing that it was okay to bring food through security - just no liquids (such as water/soda/etc) - I always bring food. Once I brought a plasitc container w/yogurt that passed thru - although I wouldn't suggest doing that. But sandwiches - sure - w/ Matt we always bring lots of food/snacks.
UGH! Just remembered that I need to buy DS a WDW 10 day NE pass tonight before the prices change. It will end up saving us around $100 between him turning 10 in November and the price increase.
Exactly how I felt!!! DD & SIL got their WDW Docs last week -- they are meeting us on the 1st in WDW. I think the ship gets in earlier then their flight.
I decided that Disney must go in alphabetical order...their last name starts with a B and ours with a T.
We always fly out at least the day before the cruise. My mother is petrified something is going to happen to make us miss the cruise. In either 2004 or 2006, there were those blackouts in New York the day of the cruise, and had we flown down that day, we would have missed the cruise. As it was, some people had to meet the Magic in Key West!!!
Actually there is a sign saying not to leave your verandah door open. There are individual thermostats in the rooms. We haven't had a problem keeping ours comfortable in the past.
