OK, I'm off to bed with the knowledge that I'm the chattiest... knowing that I'll be de-throned by tomorrow

All Hail Queen Lisa
(at least temporarily)

We can come up with an act for the talent show - do the whole thing in morse code...

(I suppose I could add that doing so would drive the audience dotty and have them dashing for the exit, but I think that would be too much, don't you? ) :rolleyes1

Yeah, that was a bit much.

I think your documents have other ideas......

Did you get any postcards??

OK all, just needed to post something real quick but the internet is as slow as molasses. If I didn't have such a hard head, I'd of quick after the first 10 minutes.

Anyway, you all remember that conversation about misbehaving kids? Yeah, well, I got those today. It was so bad that even after the Head Server talked to them, another table yelled at them, we told them to please be quiet, they didn't listen. The final straw came and yours truly stomped off to Palo's to "inform" the parents they might want to come down and watch their kids or see what they had done - you know what I got? A blank stare and a - why is it important to you (in regards to my question of if they were the parents of the kids on table 8?) ???

Yes folks, they were THAT bad that one of use was elected to go and speak with the parents. I will DIS Friday on my blog don't feel it necessary to write the details just yet on a SLLLOOOOOWWWWW machine, but suffice it to say that one table walked out right after main course (and after they had food thrown at them) and don't even get me started on the broken chinaware! :scared1:

Yes, you heard right - we had hecklions next door to us. Javem has decided to move our table as they expect the same personnal at the same table tomorrow night.

Just need to post as Steve is ranting and ready to punch a wall at the cool reception I related when I tried to inform them. I admit, I may have stepped out of line but folks, they were really that bad! ::yes::

Oh yeah, they had a female comedian - Sonja White I believe, that was hilarious. The crowd in Rocking Bar D was small but tonight was also pirate night. She would fit so well on our cruise. Hmmm.....wonder if I can suggest her. She was a hoot. She hosted CMT show and she really is a hoot. She also sorta reminded me of Cheryl - plus the personality to boot. I will post a picture of her when I get home. No ability to do it here.

Anyway, I know I've been promising but now we got sea days and I can update by blog.

Talk to you all later.

:wave2:

OMG! That is terrible.

But...yanno....those parents paid a lot of money for that cruise...they have a right to enjoy themselves...and their children are perfect...you just don't understand...

I am just beyond words.
Good for you for telling the parents what was going on.

:rotfl2: Do you think they bought us any souveniers?

No. Ungrateful docs.

Jason can sing a duet with anyone! Just let me sit in the front row!

Hmmm, like this?

Yes, this 47yo woman is totally smitten with him!

I really liked his version of Hallelujah. I love Jeff Buckley.

OK, I know Hallelujah isn't technically Buckley's song, but as far as I'm concerned it is.

They are such a nuisance in the garden, eating all the veges, singing and being generally overly cheerful ... we have to spray for them along with the aphids :lmao:

Not to mention the big hairy footprints.

As part of my son's Boy Scout Merit Badge - Citizenship in the Workd - he knews to talk from a scout or STUDENT from another part of the world about traditions, foods, holidays, life in other countries etc.

My DS is 12 - and totally normal, which at this age means I cringe at his vocabulary, diet, music and friends...Is there anyone out there whose 12 yr old - boy or girl, might be chatty enough to help us with this. It would be very very informal. OF course, the LAST thing I would do is introduce them to each other - it would humilate them for LIFE no doubt. :rotfl2:

I know Derek that you have kids - I am envisaging taking Junior to a kids club thing - maybe kind of pointing out a shild that is not from out parts. Of course, that would be met with a grunt and the rolling of the eyes. But, then left to their own devices - after 2 weeks or so, I think we might fulfill that requirement!

Thanks for any help...

Wow, that is TERRIBLE . . . what a cruise you have had, Laura!:scared1:

Laura, that is ridiculous! They threw food and broke the dishes! I'd say they deserve to be in Mickey jail for the rest of the cruise!

Enjoy your sea day:goodvibes

I love the hoodie idea! :rotfl2:
Yes, we've experienced Wall Drug and their signs for MILES!!!

:rotfl2: Do you think they bought us any souveniers?

If your docs took the tour, they were given bats:lmao: :lmao:

Wow, that is TERRIBLE . . . what a cruise you have had, Laura!:scared1:

I know!
I was thinking the same thing!
And I was thinking that she couldn't POSSIBLY have 2 bad cruises like that in a row- right? So that means she got all the "bad" in that cruise and ours is gonna be fantastically AWESOME.

Right?
Right?
who's with me on that? :)

Lil'Grumpy...if you and yours really do want to join my gang, send me a PM and we'll work it out.

Oh...the green thong thing? It was around long before anyone ever heard of that Borat actor guy: This is an old, old picture....

Oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:scared1:

Our docs are:
07/25/2008 5:54 A.M. OUT FOR DELIVERY :cool1:

Ours now says they went to a place in Texas yesterday- scheduled for delivery here today. and I know it has to be us- there couldn't possibly be another pkg with those 2 reference numbers (2 pkgs because of 2 reservations/rooms I supposed) in our small town! No way..... right?

BIP, that is just obviously true -- there is no way Laura could have two bad cruises in a row . . .:thumbsup2

Just now remembering to cancel the signature swim at PV for all 5 of us (since I booked/paid for the dolphin swim at Sealife park)

This is just FYI in case someone wants to check and see if there is availability after we're cancelled.......

:)

Okay...... it let me cancel the dolphin swim for me/ruby in our room but on the other ressie it won't let me cancel the dolphin thing for jeff/2 kids. It just says remove guests- which I do, then the next page wants me to reselect from those 3.... won't let me choose NONE of them on it.

It's not too late to cancel excursions is it?

nevermind. I'm stupid. It was asking me to select which guests to remove- not to add them back. LOL

wow and it still has us for the city tour/divers for the other room too. hmmmmmm gotta cancel that again too.

so now we cancelled the other 3 on the city tour/divers- which I thought I already did but apparently didn't confirm? And now we've cancelled all 5 of us on the dolphin signature swim... so someone go grab it if you want it. hehe

Something is really messed up online.
I wanted to just check on the registrations for the club/lab and now (for both Rita and Robert) it's saying ONLY JEFF can check the younger two out. Under the list of who can check them out it says it like this
Jeff our last name
null null
null null

those two null null's are supposed to be my name and eldest daughter's name.
I tried to edit it- and it doesn't have a place to re-imput the info ...... even though it says the primary person (registered for that stateroom) can check them out and that I can add others to check her out- it doesn't have any place to add those names again.

so has my name and Ruby's name changed to null null for some reason?
ugh
:lmao:

That's ridiculous that DCL didn't do anything about this, and that it fell to you to have to talk to the parents. But good for you for doing it!

Also, glad you're still having some fun...Rockin Bar D, Sonja White, candy shopping, etc.

Lil'Grumpy...if you and yours really do want to join my gang, send me a PM and we'll work it out.

I really hope that dude's not on our cruise.

I'd hate to show up outside Palo in the same outfit.

I will definitely NOT be wearing a tiara.

But the sash is still on, right?

Oh for crying out loud.
I'm trying to do this time consuming extensive online registration/printing stuff and got all one reservation done and now on mine it won't let me put in September 1st as our return flight! It says it doesn't match our reservation dates.
Are they making me and Ruby stay on the ship longer or something?
:lmao:

Ohwell, flight information isn't required. I just don't know why they are saying Sept 1st doesn't jive with our vacation dates...... on one reservation. Weird huh?
