I just checked UPS - they HAVE OUR CRUISE DOC'S!!!!!! They are scheduled to be delivered on Friday.

Hmmm...it shows it being delivered on 6/30 in WV.

I put in my sister's ressie number for the 9/1 cruise and it said there was multiple shipments with that reference and added her zip code and then it said could not find.

The ones that were delivered already are for a package with the same reference number. If you are using a TA that is getting your documents, you still will be able to look it up online unless you put in your zip code. The documents are still coming with that reference number, just going to a different zip code. The nice part about that is if your TA says they didn't get the documents, you'll be able to say, yes, you did

FYI: I checked with DCL about not telling people what their onboard credit offer is, even when the reservation was originally booked with DCL and then transferred to a TA. They told me that they are not supposed to give that information to guests booked with a TA. She said if something doesn't match up exactly the way the TA told the guest, it would cause trouble and Disney doesn't want to get involved with that. I guess some are getting lucky and getting an agent that's not following the rules.

Just wondering how well they would work. I told dd that if I want to go and get coffee in the morning or a tray from Topsiders, that I didn't want to wait for her. But maybe writing a note will work. She just spazes sometimes!

We were able to use the two-way radios from Palo to our stateroom on deck 6 to keep tabs on my DD They also worked from deck 9 to Parrot Cay. I have trouble hearing, but the rest of my family were fine with them. We're also bringing some sticky pads just in case.

We have 131 cabins on the fish extender list - however - we have enough supplies for (I believe) 200 cabins. SO I figure we'll hit as many as we can plus get ALL of the fish extender cabins. Anyone have a list of ALL the cabins yet?

We'll be conducting our planning for the MEETING aboard ship to distribute supplies and so on the FIRST sea day ..... 30 minutes after the soon to be announced childrens' meet.... at that same place as their meeting. I figure this will allow any of us with kids (who are participating) to not conflict - and also knock off 2 birds with one stone. The only cavet is IF the kids event concludes too close to the time when many of us might need to retire to prefare for dinner and the formal attire of the nite. IE... if the kids event was at 3PM this might end at 4PM and leave us with no time to meet as we should be preparing for dinner! Well.... if the kids' evenrt were set for 3PM then we'd switch and meet at 2PM. This make sense? At any rate, I'll PM everyone again... and the thread on the pirate zone is here....

How often do people get seated with other families? On our only other Disney cruise we had our own table for 6 and there were many tables of families of 4. Is it just simply that cruise wasn't full, or is there a magic number?

My DH is a Leo as well

On our first cruise we (the 4 of us) were seated by ourselves. On our second cruise we were seated with another family of 4 with kids the same age.

No one in my family is excited yet I think maybe it is because I have been talking their ears off for more than a year
Ok DH is a little excited and DD11 is getting there. DS14 is too cool to show excitement

That's what I did, just leave off my zip code. It shows the documents being scheduled to be delivered to my TA on Friday. I wish they would just come directly, but I'm so happy they're finally on the way.

You might want to check your mailing address with DCL or your TA. I didn't get my preplanning kit for the 9/1 cruise and checked and sure enough, they had the wrong address for me.

Just switched my precruise hotel reservations and saved $160.

Sorry I'm not going to be able to try the Park Place Inn but it always ends up being more expensive than others in the area. When I booked in April, it had the best price. But I'm now at the Camelot which I've stayed at before and really like.

She said if something doesn't match up exactly the way the TA told the guest, it would cause trouble and Disney doesn't want to get involved with that. I did call DCL the other day to verify my onboard credit. I booked with DCL in Jan 07(we were on the ship at the time). I switched to Dreams awhile ago. She told me since I had an agent I should have checked through them but she gave me the info anyways which was nice of her to do. She told me the $250 credit with DCL and the credit with Dreams.

I was a little confused though, when DH and I booked this cruise (we were on the ship at that time) I could have SWORN DCL told us we would have a $300 credit but its only listed as $250 (we are in a Category 6). AND...........since DCL doesn't really put that info on any documents we just have to roll with it. I have never read anywhere that DCL gives $300 credit for booking onboard so I may have just seen that number somewhere and it stuck in my mind.

Today I am picking up one of my students from my classroom last year and taking him to the movies (Alvin and the Chipmunks - its FREE) and out to lunch. His mom does not drive and is mildly retarded so the kids never get to go anywhere EVER! Myself and his sister's teacher worked with their caseworker & their mom to make this happen and I am so excited to expose him to some things that otherwise he would not be able to experience.

Went to see MAMMA MIA last night and it was great. Boy can those actors and actresses sing.. Rumbly morning. Poor dog is already stressed. My docs are in town. Now I wonder if I will get them or TA. Just have to track.

Today is my Friday and it couldn't have come any faster. Tomorrow I have to take DS to the airport at 7ish and then drive back into town to have his braces fitted by 8:30 and then his Drs appt at 10 at the hospital. Plus DD is working and somehow I have to retrieve the kids. Whew!!!! At least it's over early.

Yes, we're doing the morning excursion at the water park. We figured after nearly 5 1/2 days at sea (with the exception of Cartagena which will be just a town tour), the kids will be ready for a day in the water park!

Wow, I didn't know you could look them up that way. I looked and it says scheduled to arrive 7/25! That's great- I was worried if they showed up after we left that might be an issue- but maybe not if we registered online and printed that out?

Just checked mine, says they are in San Jose delivery expected on Thurs., May have to leave a note on the door for the UPS man to deliver down the street to my work.
