Really...wow..that bites. On my last trip meet thread they did it for every 100. Oh well!!

There was a great suggestion in Chat - that although we weren't able to get a Palo Brunch = what about all of us havng lunch together at Parrot Cay?
Our Brunch was to be on 8/23 - how about having Lunch the same day??

I'll pm the 24 Brunch Wenches'. Are there any other Wenches' interested????

I thought having a Wenches' Lunch fairly early on in our cruise would give us all an opportunity to get to know one another.

Looks as if 8/23 has a lot going on - so Wenches what date does the majority want?? Vote -- oh should we have a POLL??!!!

These are are sea days - including PC day:

8/18 - 8/21 - 8/23 - 8/24 - 8/25 (PC) - 8/27 - 8/29 - 8/30

System is down. It's been a bad few days for the Internet. A few days ago SBC had a major outage and there were a bunch of sites I couldn't reach. Amazon's S3 service was down for most of the day. A bit scary how dependent we're getting on all these interdependent systems.....

Something fun to think about . . . my TA called DCL last week to ask that they hold my documents from this cruise and send them out at the same time as the docs from the 5 night following it . . . DCL said they were already printing the docs for this one but would hold them until they could prepare the other ones -- so that means that some of you may get your docs soon! Nothing makes it seem more real than that . . .

I have managed to get all of Nick's school supplies and they are in his backpack for the first day of school.

I was out of town this weekend and my laptops wifi decided to go out. I was able to make short replies on my iphone but it is not as productive. On the other hand I am not PAGES and PAGES behind.

Looks like we may now be staying at the Quality Inn near DL on Friday the 15th. I will know for sure tomorrow.

Our Home & School Assoc puts together school supplies for those who want to buy them. We ordered the supplies back in May. I'm hoping the ex will go pick them up.

Any day is fine with me. I wasn't in on the Wenches Brunch, but would love to join everyone for lunch. I would think most might want to make it a short lunch on PC day though so they can observe a little longer. Just a thought...

On the swimsuit debate, I'm brining WAY more than I actually need, but suits take up such a minimal amount of packing space, I didn't think it mattered. If anyone needs a suit, come find me. I'm sure I'll have some to spare.

There's a Hard Rock at every port except Aruba. I believe the one at Cartagena is close to the Navy Museum. As the DCL excursion goes there, I'm hoping there's time to stop by. We like to get a pin from each one, but may not get one at Acapulco. If anyone plans to go there at Acapulco, please let me know

Hi! We're home from the weekend with Esteri and family and the day with Disfreaks and family! Had a great time! Esteri's family's property is great and the view is beautiful! We had a nice relaxing evening last night with the highlight sitting in the hot tub looking over the valley! The kids all got along great!
Today we all met Disfreaks and family at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. Had a fun afternoon there and then wandered around the Bite of Seattle with a zillion other people!
4 more weeks and we'll be together again! DH will try and post some pictures in the morning.
