Ok folks, just updated the week from Twilight Zone, in case any is interested. Down to 80 minutes so just a quick by for me.

OH and as for the internet? Well, the laptop is really pretty fast right now. Almost as good as being at home - almost.

This was for my SW 790 underwater camera. It comes with a wrist strap which is great for keeping it in your pocket. But underwater it did not seem that secure. The neck strap that I got was for a Canon but it works fine for any point and shoot. The strap is metal with a rubberized coating and is 34" long. I am thinking that this will be great for zip-lining as well.

EDIT: Gone to a good home.

I have a spare one of these straps if anyone wants one. First PM gets it.

Just got a call from the LA County Fair..Tori sent in an application to enter her collection..she was chosen and so..we have to set up her display on August 16th

That is going to be one crazy day! We are at the GC on the 15th so we will run from there to the Fair..set up her display..back to DTD for a mini-meet..off to pick up my Sis at the car rental place and off to San Pedro for dinner..

I will need vacation after that!

DD is excited to have her collection displayed tho...

Desiree that's fantastic - stressful, but fantastic! What kind of collection is she displaying?

ETA - never mind - I see that she collects pressed wash cloths Neat!

I am so frustrated now. I found this beautiful dress for my daughter and they just called and told me that can't get it to me for 3-4 weeks and that's when we are going on the cruise. It was so perfect because it looked just like mine so we could match.
I am looking for a royal blue formal for her. I was so excited about this and now I am bummed.

But then the door rang and we got our cruise docs. Yah..but I still need to find a dress and I feel it's short time.

Yes I will try to even take some movies. From reading the trip reports on this you really don't need to hold on all that tight. I have a couple of 2gb cards so I can take some photos and movies.

I spent the morning applying brown shoe polish to the pants and they look disgusting Just have to do the same for the shirt.

What are everybody's (photo inclined folks) thoughts on the waterproof bag for humidity?? Is it a must?

DH likes to think he is a photograper (he actually is very knowledgable) and has multiple cameras he will be bringing. On the 2005 Repo, he kept them in a towel when leaving the room and you just need to bring them to "temperature" before using them outside. We had no problems at all and it was raining most of the morning going through the canal so I would guess the humidity was fairly high that day!
