Mexico - .99/min
Panama - no service
Columbia - no service
Aruba - 1.99/min
Bahamas - 1.99/min (not sure this will work on CC)

The on board rate for Verizon is actually $2.49/minute. The other rates are correct.

Also, you may receive text messages for 5 cents or send text messages for 50 cents.

Yep, It really isn't the baby toe, it is a bone that is attached to my baby toe. Hopefully I get into the orthopedic Doc tomorrow.

If this is high up on the foot, they may not do anything. I had a break like that in highschool, and they called it a marchers break. No real injury, just strated hurting.

Comic Con is the biggest geek convention there is! A few years back it was taken over by Hollywood, so directors and actors now use it to screen upcoming movies to check the geek reaction. I used to go years ago, when I was in college, back when it was mostly comics. It was great to see all the people dressed up, usually in Star Wars or Star Trek costumes. One year a friend made me go just so she could get Scott Bakula's autograph. I think it was when his show "Quantam Leam" was still on the air.

So I spent about 2 hours in Urgent care. I have found out that I have a fracture in my 5th metatarsal. I currently have it splinted. I have to go to an orthopedic Dr. to find out what else needs to happen. They think it will take about 4 weeks to heal. But I just saw the urgent care doc. So I may look like this on the ship

I am going on this trip, no matter what.

Not sure how I am going to get to work, as it is my right foot. I live 35 miles from my office. I have lots of activities throughout 9 counties before the trip I am supposed to attend.

Nothing like a relaxing weekend.

That just stinks! Can the camp send something to all the parents "Someone had a camera stolen, xxx model, etc. If you child has a camera that doesn't belong to them, please contact the camp to arrange return. No charges will be pursued....."?

OK pulled out my bill from May, here is what I was charged: Remember this is only for phone calls. International texting was a flat rate of $0.50 cents pr text.

On sea: $2.49 for incoming

Charges in Mexico: $0.59/minute - (areas showed up as Acapulco,
Guadalajara & La Paz which would coincide with Acapulco, Puerto Vallerta, Cabo.)


Charges in Aruba: $1.69/minute (Only phone calls - e-mailing, roamin is another story)

Bahamas: $1.99
Panama: $1.99 minute

This time, I got service but because I turned off data roaming, I did encounter some trouble with texting and receiving phone calls but only in port. I always had service (except for certain locations on the ship) but sometimes could not get a clear signal. Once I turned on Data roaming, things cleared up.


I'm sure since I got signal in all those spots, then I'll have signal in Cartegena. I can check but I'm still pretty happy with my iphone.

Did anyone get a voucher for the Disneyland Express in their Documents Booklet? It states in the Ground Transfer Information "Please present the enclosed voucher to the driver." It would be nice to cancel the transportation I already purchased.

I was told a few other codes but can't reveal them in public so as to protect my sources. But I'm sure Monica knows more than I do. I'm astounded at the wealth of info she has. Puts me to shame!

Just so you know, upon disembarking today, they made a comment that your key to the world card is your "ticket" for transportation. Last year, on the Med, we got transfers but when we boarded the bus to the airport - they didn't even bother to check it. I know this isn't what you asked but they seem awfully lacksey daisy about checking.

Hey, did I forget to mention the two "Star Brights" on the cruise? The first was Cabo I believe and the second was this morning at 7 am. We were awoken to the intercom coming into EACH room stating - Star Bright, Star Bright, Star Bright - Room 7122. I said a quick prayer and 'attempted' to go to bed for another hours.

Star Bright??? I can only guess not something good.

Hey that's not bad. My charges in May (AT&T) were as follows:

Texting - International: 0.50.min
Data Roaming s/a checking e-mailing, blogging, etc - in Aruba for 15 minutes cost me $65. This time, I'm not checking e-mail - texting was ok -

I got phone service in Castaway Cay, Aruba, Panama Canal (made a 20 minute call there and it costs 1/2 of Aruba) and all Mexican ports. Price seems to be about the same. I think that cingular at sea might run me $2.49 or if not - $2.99 sounds about right. However, when the ships signal goes down, so does mine. I can sometimes pick up a land signal if we are close to land which is what I picked up on deck 4 when the engines died. Once some power came back on, I picked up enough to send text messages but no phone signal.

I called AT&T and got the rates for everywhere. I will post when I get to work tomorrow. Note that if you turn on your phone and get a VM you will be charged the rate of where you are. (at least that is what they told me) So I am changing my VM to not leave a message unless it is an emergency.

They held one or it at Rocking Bar D and Diversions and Sessions. We tried to attend but it was sooooo packed that we had to leave. We dropped off our entry form and had to leave its was beyond sardine packed.





Stace, I download and upload BOT all the time. If you come across a CD that does not show details, you can input the info one time and "mass update" so you don't have to put in the info for each and every chapter.

If you get to this point, and have any other questions, let me know. I just downloaded 6 books for this crise and didn't listen to any of them.

Depending on whether you have auto syncing or manual syncing - I have 4 computers authorized for my video ipod and ergo have to manually sync each book. Its not hard and once you do it - its a snap. I hope you enjoy your books. Makes for easy reading!

The only other book I have on my iPod I bought on iTunes and my son put it in my iPod for me. I didn't know it took so long.
