Ours came really early on the Mexican Riviera. First time ever that I was unpacked before sailaway. Maybe they move faster over there??

Maybe it will come quickly and my VR gift from my DH would be for him to unpack everything this time :rotfl2:

A Disney Cruise is a great way to thank your staff for a job well done. Can I work for the company that thanks their employees with a cruise?

Sorry that i will be posting this a few times in the next few days but I don't want anyone to miss out in case they don't play much ketchup!

OK...first off..let me start with a disclaimer! If we do not reach the total number needed (100) - I will not be able to do this...

I am getting PM's that people are still looking for lanyards..the last order took 3 weeks to get so we are cutting this close...if you would like to order lanyards...send me a PM and I will add you to the list. Your cost will be $1.50 - $2.00 (depends on the count) (sorry - I know prev they were 1.00 but that was because we went over 250 and I don't see that happening again)

I can only take orders until this Thursday night - I have to order by Friday to get the lanyards in. Keep your fingers crossed and thoughts of pixie dust that these come in quick and correct!

So...I am taking one more lanyard order... and wil let you know if I was able to place the order..we would need to get to 100 and I am currently at 18 so I am not promising anything.

I need in your PM the total amount you need (please consider $2 each so that if is less -- you are happier!) and your cabin number (if you are gty - please send as soon as your have) the lanyard includes a plastic pouch for your name tag/KTTW card

MATH ALERT

It's not necessarily cheaper, it's just that there are smaller packages on the Wonder. Shorter cruise = less internet time.

The smallest package on the Magic is 100 minutes for $55. The smallest package on the Wonder is 50 minutes (half of 100) for $27.50 (half of $55).

Gee...never thought I'd be able to figure out a math alert.

Congrats Monica! Things are looking up for you already!

I asked my girls what they were looking forward to most on the cruise and they said "The Mickey Bar Speed Eating Contest". :rotfl2:
Their "practice" cost me $10.00 per round at WDW. I very much look forward to ordering Mickey bars w/out outlaying $10.00.

Awwww.....

How charming...

...now anyone else with interest .... please post here to ensure I have euf bars ordered for everyone having interest. Walk up participants may be denied if I run out - and those on "the list" are assured a shot at eternal glory ...!!!!

True..I was looking at the cost for 100 minutes..the difference betwwen .55 a minute on magic and .40 a minute on Wonder...not as though it really matters..I am debating if we are even going to do the internet...prob will get a small package to check in with those keeping an eye on the house for us...but I don't want DH work to try and contact him! :rotfl:

So, I finally got into the DCL site, and got one of those ressies that have freed up. Not a great time, 8/31 at 7, but, I didn't think a 9pm reservation would work with kids in the kids club.

Thanks for the heads up on the newly released spots.

Carol

We'll probably run in to you at the water park after your Dolphin Swim and before our Encounter. I am really getting excited about this place! I originally hadn't even considered doing a dolphin excursion because of the price and the ages of my two little ones, but then when I saw the other post about this place (and the fact that kids as young as 1 can participate), I decided to book it. I think we're actually going to keep this one a surprise from the kids until we get there!

Kim
Yeah, we will probably run into each other. I hope we recognize one another! :)

Don't worry about him if he has never been stoped at the check in counter before -- it always takes at least an hr for the counter people to let us check in..... there is always at least 1 supervisor invovled.

I'm sure the B.O.B. thing will be great! That is what Samantha wanted to do before she realized that there is a Teen Excursion to go on that day!
But how will it be great if there is nothing to see? :(

There's a teen excursion there? *must look into this*

"You're turning violet, Violet!"

Love Williy Wonka .. but... (getting ready to walk the plank here) the original..not so much a fan of the remake.
I love the original more... even though I'm a big fan of JD! He was kinda creepy in this show..... and not creepy in a good way. But I liked them both. Just if I had to choose one or the other- I'd go with the original.

Now I'm the opposite. I loved Gene Wilder, and thought johnny Depp was creepy. It was like he was channeling Michael Jackson or something.:confused3

We saw some great designs on these threads, and some of the designers were gracious enough to personalize them for us.

I know that Radio Shack has in the past..... Oldest dd's good friends went on one about 9 or 10 yrs ago that their dad *won* at work.......

GMTA! Ronald Dahl books are a little *dark*. They were 28ds's favorite books when he was little (9 or so)

I think you mean Roald Dahl... I loved his books when I was in middle school! We read BFG (Big Friendly Giant) in 5th grade and I reread that and read his other books that summer :) Really freaked me out because I'd be up reading by flashlight under my covers (to not get in trouble) at midnight, "The Witching Hour" as he called it... midnight was the time that the BFG would take kids from their rooms at night!

They got our old resie!!! :) There are currently dinners showing open on 8/24 at 9 and 8/31 at 7.

Thank you! :worship: Thank you! :worship: Thank you! :worship: We were able to reserve Palo, YAY!!  Course it's 9pm the night before PC, but we actually got something :) Now hopefully we will be able to get nursery time... I think it's stupid that we're still limited to 10 hours for a 15 day trip!! So we have all the hours we need for our 2 excursions, and 1/2 hour for Palo :lmao:

We're still GTY though... Maybe that's because we're cat12 and they're waiting so they can upgrade us to a verandah? :rotfl2:

We can hope, right?

BTW, the dining coordinator told me that Marco will be the manager of Palo for the crossing since he was my first choice for server.

:lovestruc Love, love, love Marco!!!! We were fortunate enough to have Marco and his brother Salvatore on our cruise in 2002. Salvatore was our server but Marco couldn't stay away from our table and kept coming over to try to get his brother in "trouble". We had such a fantastic evening with the two of them telling stories on each other and giving clues about their life growing up. They even arranged a second dinner for us as a surprise, still have no idea why they did that :confused3

If you don't mind me asking...was it quite costly to have someone design this? Do they do the design and send it to you to print?

Thanks,
Carol

No.. they do not charge.. They will post the design on the boards or pm you the design.. Everyone is willing to help you...:goodvibes

Sure..you can sit right here next to those of us waiting to hear on our suite upgrades...:rotfl:

Wow..only 10 hours on a 15 day? I had no idea it was that limited

:worship: :worship: God knows I can use the help!! :worship: :worship:

I read through the info on design tips, and how to...most of which I had no idea what they were talking about. I knew I wasn't too computer savy...just didn't know how bad I really was.

Thanks,
Carol
