Late last week I posted a diagram which I thought was the wave heights in the Pacific. On further review it was the wave interval not the height. Here is the current wave forecast for the next 72 hours (much better).

This will be my 4th Cruise. In the Med we got very rough 13-20 foot seas between Palermo, Sicily and Naples. I did not get sea sick but the creaking of the ship in my stateroom nearly drove me mad. All was fine when I was up on deck 10 watching the movie, just mental issues when in my stateroom.

We are here watching Wimbledon live at 9.20pm, as our (Scottish) Guy is playing coming back from two sets down, now in the final set,

On my Med cruise the last sea day back to Barcelona was a rough one, very active seas, nearly as bad as Cabo day in 2005.

Funny enough we found the best place to be was our Cat 4 stateroom, I went on WiFii until that went down, booking my seats for the flight home and catching up e.mails.

DD who suffers from seasickness prefers the stateroom than the lower decks.

Just got off the phone with the DT restaurant. They said the restaurant can hold around 100 people. When I asked about a party of 30-40 (not a banquet), he replied not a problem and to just call a week in advance. I posted this over on the planning board.

Cool, I just made reservations with Primetime Shuttle to get us from LAX to the DT, and then from the DT to Port on Sunday.

Just quickly popping in to say ... guess what today is?

Today is 1st July! Which means we can now say "next month when we are on the EB repo". Exciting stuff huh?

Also just a quick weather check, biking to work this morning it was -4C/25F and yes there was ice on the road so I was biking very, very slowly.

I'm so looking forward to warm weather!

FIRSTLY Andy Murray just won at Wimbledon at 9.31pm.

SECOND Primetime shuttle nearly killed me and my familiy last time I was in LA, Driver didnt see a RED near Universal studios and nearly drove into a car.

I feel like I am making no progress in getting ready for cruise. My schedule is to hectic & crazy. It's hard to believe tomorrow we can all say we are going on a cruise next month.



I did get black formal gloves but they are below the elbow. Is that what everyone else is doing for princess night?


Also............... I need to send my FE gifts ahead of time. Is that something we can do or did I remember DCL saying they weren't accepting any packages? TIA

Hey Paula just saw your post after I posted. It's still June 30th here so guess your a day ahead of us. Congrats on cruising next month.

That is DH's dream. He goes to the US Open in NY every couple of years but he would love going to Winbledon.

How much extra was it to add the DT to port leg? Also, what time are they going to get you to the port?

Hey Andy: We have reservations from a shuttle from Lax to Doubletree.........I was told we couldn't make reservations from Doubletree to port? They have 2 shuttles running but with so many people staying there thought it might be a problem getting on a shuttle.

I was in your neck of the woods over the weekend - we went to France in the Channel Tunnel and then stayed a few nights in the Hilton Dartford. Lovely weather!!

I've cruised during one hurricane and a couple of other really, really bad storms. I can take it, but I know that at least one of the other Moms gets really sea-sick. We may have to stick her in a closet with a waste basket.

This is the only hurricane I wan't to hear about !

I'll have extra patches with me if she needs them. The only side affect I've ever had is extreme dry mouth -- which is why if you see me I will have a bottle of water with me at all times!

Did everyone pick a date & time to meet yet? We will be arriving on the 16th. Probaly early evening depending on getting our "stuff" and traffic. Thanks for looking into this.
