Just got off the phone with the DT restaurant. They said the restaurant can hold around 100 people. When I asked about a party of 30-40 (not a banquet), he replied not a problem and to just call a week in advance. I posted this over on the planning board.

Late last week I posted a diagram which I thought was the wave heights in the Pacific. On further review it was the wave interval not the height. Here is the current wave forecast for the next 72 hours (much better).

I guess if I went through 15 to twenty foot waves my first cruise(Yes... I was in one of the greek alphabet hurricanes in 2005) these will seas be easy to deal with. Maybe if we sacrifice Tom31b to the waves.........we will not be in a hurricane.;) :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

For the record, there were a few others from this cruise on my last hurricane changed cruise!

Hey, were you on the August 26, 2006 Western that became an Eastern? We were at WDW before that cruise and had no idea there was a hurricane until we checked in at the port. Hopefully we'll be hurricane-free this time.

:headache: :headache: I need a nap now. That's almost as bad as the math problems.

On the June 8th cruise we had 1.5 - 4 ft waves....the lowest category that they have on their chart things. I doubt the waves were more than 1.5. Pretty smooth sailing.

Is August typically worse?

Cool. I really think we're better off outside. Since the inside seating is open to the lobby, I have a feeling our excited rambunctiousness could possibly disrupt others who are not as much fun as we are.
:rotfl: :rotfl: ;) ;) ;)

I just hope its better than the last repo cruise in 2005, the Cabo day was very 'active'.

Hi Andrew

I was in your neck of the woods over the weekend - we went to France in the Channel Tunnel and then stayed a few nights in the Hilton Dartford. Lovely weather!!

I've cruised during one hurricane and a couple of other really, really bad storms. I can take it, but I know that at least one of the other Moms gets really sea-sick. We may have to stick her in a closet with a waste basket.

Full English breakfast always cures seasickness, ( one way or another)
