This is not fun. Did everyone give up, or am I simply talking to myself?
Remember, posts will randomly appear in between the ones you had in a row, making it seem that you were not alone. Its all part of the newer, friendlier DIS!

Gee...
... I was thinking of bringing my NOTEBOOK plus an outlet repeater strip to handle all the electircal items we're bringing:
Notebook computer charger
Shaver
DSLR Camera battery charger
Fuji battery charger
Canon battery charger
Sony DVD Camcorder Battery charger
DVD Player
Nite light
ZUNE loudspeaker and charging cradle (maybe?)
Vitamixer (Nawww!)
Plus Alicia's AC powered stuff!
OK.. my power strip is a conventional one - not the monster depicted above![/CENTER]

Last week I called the Disneyland Hotel, and they said they will have a shuttle Sunday morning to drive us to the port. We are cruising 7/13. They told me it was free and made a note of it on our reservation. So you may just want to call them and ask them.
And of course the people tat don't ask us the first day will ask us the day we go through the canal! This could get rather comical! How many times do you think we're going to be asked where we bought the shirts![]()
That's a loaded question, if I ever saw one!Are we still warped?
I'll have to remember that!Actually, the absolute best thing to do when you feel a cold coming on is to start taking Code-Eeze. It contains A form of zinc that actually impacts the cold virus and presumably reduces its ability to reproduce quickly, thus presumably shortening the severity and duration of colds.
One hint - read the directions. Don't take any vitamins (especially vitamin C) or use artificial sweeteners for at least 1/2 hour before & after taking it - those neutralize the zinc.
I'd say about 90% of the time when I have that "cold is on its way" feeling, if I start taking Cold-Eeze it never actually becomes a full fledged cold and I feel find by the next day or the day after.
I'm the same way Christopher. I have hearing aides, but I'll need a cochlear implant in the not too distant future.
Now lets see where this post goes
Edited to add: I guess they fixed the twilight zone effect-my post went where it was suppose to.
And now Stace too. Anybody know some sign language![]()

I took a course in college, but without anyone to practice with I've forgotten everything![]()
Just saw this on the main board. Doesn't sound right to me, but those of you staying on Disney property might want to check it out.
Not for me , I want to be on the Pirate Bus ...forget the shuttle ...probably wont get there early and probably wont stop at a liquor store

Having been a non DIS'er on a cruise with a heavy DIS presence (this is only my second cruise as a DIS member), I'd say we generally assumed it was some sort of special family reunion or something and did our best not to feel left out ::cop:
Good to know. I am a FIRM believer of Zinc.Don't understand this one Dan, all the articles that I have read indicate ascorbic acid has no effect on zinc absorption. The only interactions that I know of with zinc are calcium or phosphate containing products which decrease the absorption.
Well it seems as if we are still living in the Pirate Zone with psychic folks responding to posts that haven't been writen yet.
Seems as if DS will be in good company. Many of you will remember that he was just diagnosed last July with a moderate hearing loss. He has hearing aids for both ears and often forgets to wear them. Case in point, guess what's sitting on the kitchen table while he went to school???
Hello everyone!
Just checking in.
Wow what a month! I decided to do all night shifts for the month of June (10pm-7am) to try it out (usually work 2-3 nights a month) Monday-Thursday with weekends off. What a mistake. By Thursday I was so exhausted it would take me 2 days to recooperate.
Well, I won't be doing that again.
I had no time to post. Hope everyone is well. Hope to Ketchup this weekend.
Nice flag Todd!![]()
