glad to see you made it, we also love akl...

We have points at ssr but have never stayed there...its on our list to do so its nice to know you are enjoying it. As for dvc we have never regreted purchasing and an added benefit of dvc is we have been able to share our points with family...

Back to work and on the side trying to figure out how to fix our vista internet connection probems...my dh purchased a new computer in june with vista on it and agh We have had several problems with it..

Things are quiet here today....Elin is off to Michigan Adventure with the Band and I am dying to go upstairs to pack (draw back of working from home)...

Thanks, Denise...She just woke up and seems to be better......Their cousins are coming over to swim and have lunch with us today the girls are going to a lake around here with a friend for a few hours, and then coming home to shower then we are going to a friend's house for dinner who we have not seen all summer. So they have a busy day ahead of them today. I am hoping that she is up to it...........This weekend we have NO PLANS!! So we can all REST and get ready to leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When are you leaving Denise??

I told her that you called her Hopie and she gave a BIG smile. All of a sudden this summer she is wanting to be called Hopie....Even her friends are calling her that....It is sooo cute!!

Good morning to everyone. It's a beautiful day here in CT. It's in the low 70's, the sun is shining and there is no trace of humidity, not like a few days ago. It was preparing us for the sticky humidity of Florida.

Stayed up to 2am tying up some loose ends. In reality, I was too excited to sleep so I figured I might as well be productive. Bagged our FE gifts by floor and mapped out our delivery route, attached magnets for door decorations, worked on my final to-do list and touched up our t-shirts which look better now that they just came out of the washer.

Today will be spent pulling more of the little items, cleaning and laundry , then tomorrow we will do the final packing and we're off to the airport for our early Sunday AM flight. Ed, we may check out the bowling alley tomorrow by BDL for the glow bowling.

Well, I'm off to get some more stuff together...Have a great day.

I am having so much trouble sleeping - I normally sleep like a log. I am just hoping not to getsick before the trip.

Good Summer Day, Everyone!

It's Tax-Free weekend here in Virginia, so I darted over to the mall at lunch, got the boys and DH shorts and shirts for the Cruise! That should make packing easier - take from trunk of car, put into suitcase. Actually, first comes the dreaded require "come in here and try on these new clothes!". They'll all go hiding under the beds!

Great deals, bought mostly warm weather clothes at Penney's at 70% off, plus they had $15 off coupon flyer at the door - excellent!

Here is the summary of today so far:
Very hot, great breakfast at Cape May, HORRIBLE bus service at DTD, did I say very hot?, water that was delivered is WONDERFUL, time in the pool, etc.

That's all for now...time to go to a DVC presentation...NO WAY are we thinking of buying at this point in our lives but since we had free time we thought it would be fun to check it out (and get some free VIP fast passes!).
