Lol! Say, do they make gel clings of "portholes"???!!!! We've been spoiled in the past with verandahs - this will take some getting used to! Esp. since I'm a sucker for natural light! My theory is we spend very little time in the cabin anyway, so hopefully won't miss the verandah too much!

Are you in an inside cabin? A tip I read somewhere is to turn your TV to the Bridge View channel and leave it on over night with the sound on mute. That way, when it gets light in the morning your cabin will too!

Thank you all, I'm still in a little bit of shock as he was down in Ala with my other Brother and I didn't see him recently.

Of course you will be feeling shocked and a little numb at the moment - it is only natural. Even though you knew it was coming at some stage nothing can prepare you.

I couldn't agree more with what Susy said, I hope you are able to find some time during the trip to remember some good memories and reflect on happier times.

Just sitting here watching our favorite show - So you think you can dance - it is the final night. We are waiting for the results. Yes it is a 2 hour show to tell you the winner.

Before I start...Ed, I am so sorry for your loss. We will keep you in our thoughts and hope that you are able to still find some happy times in the days ahead.

Well, we have made it! We were delayed a bit this morning as our flight did not leave on time but we eventually made it!

Kristin - SSR is a beautiful resort. We ended up in the Grandstand section and love it because we are in the very first building after crossing the street. This works out great for the pools, quick access to the main building and easy access to the boat for downtown Disney.

Ben went into the pool for a few minutes before we headed to AKL. We had a wonderful tour of the Lodge and dinner with Laura and Marco.

We were exhausted from our long day, came back to the hotel, the kids went swimming and we are now watching "So you think you can dance".

Just discovered we forgot a brush...how does this happen? We are going to see if there is one in the store. Later!

It was so nice! We went around the AKL and saw how beautiful the resort is - we were very impressed.

We had dinner together at Mara after walking around a bit. It was so nice to see them in person and talk face to face after all this time. They are such wonderful and kind people. They were attentive to the children and everyone in my family kept talking about how nice it was to spend time with them as we headed back to our resort.

We are excited to be able to see them again on the cruise ship!

The flight was delayed and we had a bit of turbulence but we arrived safe and sound!

We are really pleased with SSR and I love where our room is at!!!!! It is perfect for what we want these 2 days!!!!

Our plans tomorrow include a character breakfast at Cape May, swimming in the pools, doing a DVC tour (maybe) and packing everything up again! We plan on leaving EARLY Saturday morning to head to the Poly!!!

Yep! I have some on my camera...I may have to look at them yet tonight. We also did some with the PhotoPass photographer in the lobby at AKL. I am hoping they turn out good.

Glad to see you made it, we also love AKL...

We have points at SSR but have never stayed there...Its on our list to do so its nice to know you are enjoying it. As for DVC we have never regreted purchasing and an added benefit of DVC is we have been able to share our points with family...

Back to Work and on the side trying to figure out how to fix our Vista Internet Connection probems...My DH purchased a new computer in June with Vista on it and Agh we have had several problems with it..
