To All My DIS Friends...

The bags are packed and sitting by the door. The to do lists are done. My alarm is set for 5 AM. The family is ready to go to Florida tomorrow morning. I am sitting in bed and I am WAY too excited to sleep!!!!

I have had so much fun chatting with everyone and feel like it will be meeting friends when we actually meet.

I wish everyone a safe journey and cannot wait to see you all on the ship!

flight was fantastic, boardwalk up to its usual high standards.
had a great meal at ESPN last night.
off shopping today to pick up all our favourite american goodies.

I am not really very sure which time zone Jen is in - here in the UK it is 10:25am so I imagine the Anderson family are up and getting ready to leave! Safe travels Jen and co.

Kristin,I hope the anti infammatories do their job soon and sort your foot.

Denise - wow a bat in your house and on your tomatoes! I would have done the same with the tomatoes! When I wazas a kid a bat flew into my bedroom in the late evening when I was in bed, it was flying round and round in circles. Needless to say I ducked and RAN from the room to get my Mum and Dad!

* Clothes all pulled for my DD - 9 - just need the essentials
* Clothes all pulled for my DD - 13 (Finally)
* Just need a few more for me and hubby
* Gathering all the little things - boy maybe I need to send another box

Doesn't it feel good to start getting things together....

I have told everyone at my house that Sunday is the day for packing...so Sat I will make sure everything is washed...I am getting so excited its getting hard to concentrate on work..

My DH said yesterday why weren't we leaving earlier and going to the parks, - I reminded him that he is the one that says WDW in Aug no way...

Doesn't it feel good to start getting things together....

I have told everyone at my house that Sunday is the day for packing...so Sat I will make sure everything is washed...I am getting so excited its getting hard to concentrate on work..

My DH said yesterday why weren't we leaving earlier and going to the parks, - I reminded him that he is the one that says WDW in Aug no way...

Safe travels to all travelling this week/weekend! And hope everyone visiting the parks early has great fun and great weather!

To those of us still working....I know I'm frustrated at how work obligations are keeping me from visiting the cruise boards as much as I'd like!

I am almost done with my door signs. DS and I did a lot of glue-sticking and cutting last night - I am ashamed to admit I cannot cut in a straight line no matter what! So...ours will be the slightly lopsided signs adorning the doors in steerage on Deck 2.

I print my signs on regular paper, glue them to recycled file folders to add a little heft/stability to them, and then glue thin magnet pieces from the dollar store to them. They last pretty well through the travels!

I find sitting down to cut and paste to be very therapeutic! I'm not creative or crafty in that sense, so only enjoy that type of project when planning a Disney cruise!

Mel, GREAT JOB on the weight loss!!! I hope you are loving it and are proud of yourself! I am glad to report I surpassed my goal, which is great, but I haven't exercised at all, so I don't feel "toned"...maybe that can be next cruise's goal???

I am with you! Sunday is my packing day. I have pulled out somethings, but haven't done much in the way of clothes since we are still wearing everything. I can't wait until Sunday so I can feel like I have made some progress!

Sad News here.

I just heard from my Brother, that our other brother pased away last night. It was expected, but not so soon. He had been fighting the effects of ALS, early this morning, (1:30 am) he passed away in his sleep.

We are also bringing our snorkel gear, but leaving the fins at home...Hopefully that will work out...those darn fins take up so much space in the suitcase.
