I love all of the planning, especially planning the clothes part of it......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having Disney planning things to do is what gets me through all of the days until I can be at Disney again!

I called yesterday and was able to book us for the new Magic Kingdom dessert buffet!!!!!!!! I think it looks like something new and FUN to do!!!!!!!!!

It looks really fun! I would love to do it but we won't be doing it this time because of the price. I can't wait to hear all about it from you though!!!! Be sure to take a lot of photos!!!!!

Ed, What night are you doing it on???

Had a very busy week this week, last night Alice went to a theatre for a presentation of a special achievement at Girl guides, it was the best in division and only a few guides are nominated let along get the award. So she did very well.

This week I have been very busy at work getting home late, which isn’t as nice as the weather is so good, hot and sunny and two hours on public transport isn’t too great. Nearly missed Alice’s presentation yesterday.

And as it was so busy was doing work on my laptop at home as well up to 11pm.

On the WDW booking for summer good news, the price has fallen Dreams saw this and revised my cost and as I was paid in full that transfers to WDW park credit, using my room key out there I can use that up quickly with my ADR’s, not worth swapping that back to £ as I loose on the exchange rate.

More good news. Just booked the four points by Shearton in cocoa Beach, for the night before the cruise
Using my SPG points the room is free. a Jr suite

Wow. Best intentions to catch up to y'all 5k'ers and start working out, but shocked at Michael Jackson's death and glued to the TV.

So sad. What an amazing talent. So sad how tainted his later years became, the choices he was making.

I remember missing a 1/2 day work as a teen to stand on line for tickets for the Victory tour (Thriller years) at the Meadowlands. An amazing concert!:thumbsup2

Anyone watching this on CNN? Earlier, when the news was just coming out, amazing how many "close friends", etc. were quick to get their moment in the spot light.:headache:

I hope they play the whole Thriller video later - I'd like the kids to see it. I think our oldest watched it with us a few years ago. And I love the old Jackson Five footage!

Well, I was going to skip my "training" today with the stormy weather this morning but then I felt guilty tonight so I had to exercise. DH and I went out after supper and pretty much walked the whole 5K. It felt good to not skip it (in a weird warped sort of way). Tomorrow is supposed to be incredibly (and dangerously) hot so I will have to go very early in the morning if I am going to get it done.

My goal tomorrow is to be up early working out...getting my chores done...and then hopefully enjoy my BIL's pool!:goodvibes

Have a good evening!
Jen

Hi Jen
I remember being a tween when Elvis died and thinking that he was an old man. Gosh, I think he was 40 or so. And now Michael Jackson gone at 50 ...OMG, when did MJ get to be 50?? That really hits home. He was such a part of the songs we grew up with, from the Jackson 5 to Thriller (okay, that's directed to those of us who are 40 something...Looking at some of the member pages from Jen's site I know that there are others who are considerably younger...:lmao:). I even remember an animated Saturday morning cartoon with the Jackson 5 and "Ben', the rat. Your comment about his life the last 20 years or so was exactly right.

After reading your post, I looked at you signature and realized that we were on your double dip cruise in 2006 (and so was Ed, and Anna! Did I miss anyone else??). So I went back and read your trip report and - hey, that big bald head that you can see in the picture on page 4 of your trip report (pirate night, wearing a pirate head scarf) is Sean!! and yup, that's the back of my head next to him. :rotfl2:

Here's to a reunion cruise for some of us!!!party:
