Thanks for the great info!

Jen-
We are stumped and need a clue for the photo.

Going to try to make the Molten Chocolate Cake this week! YUM! :thumbsup2

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Andee -

The photo clue...many people could use this at once!

Hope you like the molten chocolate cake! We LOVE it! I find it to be way better than the Palo chocolate dessert. Let me know what you think of it!

Yep! I was going to give the clue...you would not want to have to use this! :lmao:

Tomorrow I will update the website, change the mystery photo, and post my last blog before I leave for the weekend.

Glad the mystery photo was a bit challenging at first! You are so good with them though!

Have a great night!

Hope you all have a nice Easter weekend!

Questions:

Is there a way to find out if "Up" will play in 3-D on our cruise?

Is there a way to find out if there will be a special guest on our cruise?

We are a group of 8. Is it likely we will still be seated with another group at dinner? (We enjoy that opportunity!)

How do you keep yourselves busy on days at sea?

With a group of 8, you most likely will have a table to your self, but other tables are close by. Don't know if any special quest will be on board, as that sometimes isn't decided to the last minute.

About a month before, I think DCL posts the movie playlist somewhere on line.

Welcome to the Weekend

I love Friday's when we get an update on how long we have to the cruise...the time is passing quickly!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! I will be away to go visit my sister but might have computer access here and there.

I put a new mystery photo on the web site today since Andee guessed the last one. This one should be pretty easy (I won't be around to give any clues so I picked something easy). I also added a few new photos to our photo page to help us all think happy cruise thoughts!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Closer to the cruise you can call reservations and ask what movies are on, however if you look at a Disney release schedule for August,on their movies, that will be what they show.

Table wise you should get a table for 8, but I would if I were you put in a request, for that via TA or direct to DCL. if you want to sit with others ask someone here to link ressies with you, tables go up to 18, but are rare.

special guest,The vast majority of times this occurs on the longer repos and special cruises, they have time to fill and the guest does this, we cannot rule it out, but I think its a low chance unless they want to be on our cruise.

Don Ducky Williams has been on two of my cruises and we had Aly and AJ on my last one as well. In fact they had the two rooms adjoining me on deck 8.

HI All!

I have posted a few times previously looking for any other single parents going on this cruise, but didn't have any responses. I am really looking for people to dine with at Palo. Will the Dis-ers be planning to have a dinner, brunch or tea together? I will dine up there alone if I have to, but would much rather have some conversation. I know I cannot possibly be the only single parent on this ship thinking the same thing!

Also, are there any other DIS meets going on? I am getting very excited now LOL! By the way I will have DS who will be 4 months shy of 13th birthday on the cruise.

Looking forward to getting responses!

My SIL who will be cruising with us is a single parent. It will be her with her 2 kids (DS12, DD10). We were going to do a brunch with me, DH and SIL...you are more than welcome to join us if we can figure out how to do the reservation.

If you visit our cruise web site, you can see the DIS meets that are being planned. They include a meet at the sail away party, meeting for ice cream on at sea days and possibly seeing if we can arrange a tasting party for our group!

We are really excited to get to meet everyone!

Can all of you so-much-more-knowledgeable DISers help? We upgraded to a cat 6 several months ago. However, we were unable to pick a cabin and were told that we could book gty only. After reading some of the threads on the cruise boards about gty rooms, I've been checking the DCL site pretty regularly to see if any cat 6 rooms open up for a selected cabin booking. When I checked today, there were NO cat 6 rooms listed at all. Does that mean that all the cat 6 rooms are gone? :confused3 Should I keep looking to see if a cat 6 room opens up so that we might see if it is one we'd like to choose?
Sounds like our cruise is filling up....

I answered on the main forum thread, DCL have reached capacity on your CAT level this cruise is very ''full'' very popular, you will be assigned a room about 35 days as even if they penciled you in for a cabin now, they cannot prefer you over any other cruisers, so they will bulk assign at 35 days.
