Hoz it goin'... and may I ask ... who you callin' NICE? I haven't changed that much since August.... have I? You know ... on some threads I would be declared GUILTY of DOggie abuse in feeding a whole (mostly eaten) Turkey to an INNOCENT (but shifty eyed) 130 pound critter.

And may I ask how things are on your end of the world Andrew? What's the buzz on your end as to what to make of the financial issues? Are your real estate values stable? It would seem mildly surprising if our mortgage issues - and subsequent valuation shifts are influencing your valuations.

Over here we have Chinese nationals organized into "buying tours" to visit various cities in search of foreclosure properties to buy. Amazing, eh?

We usually sail once a year on Disney - and almost always on this particular sailing. It's precisely the one that fits into the week before school starts foro ur kids - hence the last sailnjg we had with the PCREPO.

However, no ... we are only reserved for a July 2010 sailing ... which actually is in serious danger of being rebooked into another unknown date.

My picture for sailing Disney is a bit complicated - however it suffices to say that we have 4 families reserved for that July 2010 sailing but a couple of families are in disagreement over when (and where) to sail. We're standing by until the dust settles ... then we'll make our move... maybe.

So... we are only reserved for a a couple weeks on Big Island (Hawaii) in April ... and the rest of our schedule is largely uncommitted. And we've booked last minute sailings on Disney a couple times before. SO ... all I know is this is the only 2009 date we're thinking of for Disney. Such is life.

And I'm glad your region is free of our jitters. Indirectly it is reassuring as the opposite would indeed be interesting. We've been bruised but not hurt by the financial shifts. And mostly we're looking for buying opportunities mostly. OK... I gotta get going in a few minutes.

I was soo depressed after our last cruise when we came right home we decided this time to stay after the cruise.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes !! I know too well that " going back home depression" !!

WOW !! I guess SSR is just beautiful !! So peaceful !!

Is your first staying ovethere ?

We have never stayed at SSR - but we LOVED it when it was " The Disney Institute" !!!! We had a cozy studio ground floor - with little rabbits and cuuute "Chip & Dale" coming each morning on our lawn for breakfast !! At the time The Institute used to sell food for our "animal-friends" !!
The classes held by the Institute were very well done , still fun !!!!
