We just moved from the August 29 Eastern to the August 15 !!!
We are myself DH, my wife and 3 boys 15 , 6 , 6 ( that's right TWINS )
Boy..you guys have an active group...I can never read all the posts.
Hope you can bring us up to speed.
How do we get access to your website ?
We would be interested in 5 lanyards.
Not sure yet about the FE..never done that before ..actually this is our first Disney Cruise.

If you haven't been keeping track of the AAA rates that have been being offered lately....you might want to take a look.

I was able to switch our two category 6 cabins to GTY verandah cabins and save $1760 per cabin. We are a party of 3 (1A2C) and 3 (1A2C). I assume this means we could get assigned anything from a category 7 to a 4. For that money we don't care.

All I did was call a AAA agent (we are NOT members) and ask them to call Disney and ask for the AMO promotion. There is a possibility we will be getting a $150 OBC too. Once my AAA reservations were confirmed and showed "booked" on the DCL website, I cancelled my previous reservations.

On Tuesday I was able to upgrade our category 6 cabin and category 11 cabins on the 8/8 cruise (we are doing back-to-back) to adjacent category 4 cabins and save $2010. This was before AAA/DCL realized that their promotion wasn't working the way they thought it was going to. Now you can only get a GTY and you can't pick from any available category 4-7 cabin which we did on Tuesday. Craziness.

Hope this helps somebody save some $$.

WOW!! Glad you were able to get such an AWESOME rate. I doubt I could get that rate since I did not book with AAA.. My TA booked my cruise so long ago and I have a pretty good OBC already.....CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Hope everyone is doing well. We have been busy getting back into the swing of things after vacation and all. This weekend is supposed to be AWESOME, so we are mulching, etc.......HAVE A MAGICIAL WEEKEND EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Saturday Everyone!

It is a bit cloudy this morning...I think we might get some rain. Yesterday we made it close to 80°!!!! It is nice to finally have some warm weather.

I did update our site a little bit last night but with the new people who have posted, I will have to do some more tonight!

It will be a busy day at my house. DD is having her 13th birthday party tonight! We will be having 7 girls spending the night so we have a lot to do to prepare and I hope we get a bit of sleep tonight. Emily's birthday is tomorrow so it will be a weekend of Emily time!

Been awhile, so I'm many, many pages behind on the thread

Thanks JenA for all wonderful website - I've finally had some time to look around! Been thinking about excursions - your site is a valuable resource!

I really wanted to experience the Baths while on Tortola, but put off by the $$$ of the excursion for a family of 5. Been gathering info on Cruise Critic: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=290 and it looks quite doable.

Anyone else taking this DIY route?

Anyone else taking this DIY route?

I am planning to do it with DCL, there are risks in booking by yourself, the trip includes different forms of transport, with boats, included and getting back to the ship on time, when diy is the issue.

If there is any problem on a DCL tour they will wait but if diy, they do not.

Tortola is close to St Thomas I am sure if anyone missed the ship they could catch up the next day but is it worth missing a night on the ship.

Hi! We're planning to do the baths on our own too. Yes, DCL would probably be a little easier but the same excursion would be $40 more per person for our family of 4 with DCL. We're just going to make sure that we budget the time carefully and give more than enough time to return to the ship. And our whole family is very "pale" so we'll be lathering on the SPF and watching to make sure no one burns!
