Laura - How exciting to save money on your vacation! I would love to hear we were saving some $$$. I guess we saved a lot on our airfare and so that will be good enough!

Just finished a busy weekend. It was the end of the trimester (lots of grading for me to do ) and DD had a dance competition (she came home with trophies so it was good).

I hope to work on the website a bit tonight. Time to add a few more fun things for all of you who visit the site often. I have to keep you all entertained!

Hello everyone!!!! how was everybodys weekend???? i had a very successful weekend because i had a dance competition. we got 4 trophies!!!
1. High Point award
2. Judges award for Pur Energy
3. Most entertaining
4. Top First Place in our catagory!!!

Must have been a dance weekend - my DD (12) also had a dance competition. They were also successful and got 1st place platinum trophies in tap, contemporary, and jazz. They also were awarded 1st and 3rd place overall for their age group.

That's awsome!!!! we only did one dance for this competition. we did a Jazz dance to Get Up Offa That Thing. it was a very fun dance too we are also doing two more competitions (one in april and one in may) and we are using the same dance. im very excited!!! What competition did your DD compete in??? This one that i did was Kids Artistic Revue. i dont know the one that im doing in april. But we are doing Starbound in May.

awww thank you!!!! i have been dancing for 12 years now. i feel like i have gotten soooo much better through the years that i have been dancing, that i am proud to look at this picture lol

I love many of those listed Tortola excursions ... but I guess I'll have to choose !!!!!!!!
I'd like to take that TORTOLA BY LAND AND SEA excursion , maybe in the morning , and ALSO that one ARTS AND CRAFTS ... in the early afternoon ...
Not sure whether we'll stay enough time in port though ...We had the dolphin encounter twice in past cruises - so we'll skip that this time.

I would also LOVE to have time for SHOPPING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hard part of typing all the excursions up is that as I read the whole description, I think I want to try all of them!

I think in Tortola we are just going to look for the cheapest hanging out at the beach activity that we can find. We were considering touring the Baths but I have my eye on a different excursion for St. Thomas!

We have found several private day sail options in St. Thomas that will cost us about $100-$150 per person - this includes going on a private sail where we get to help choose where we go, snorkling equipment, floats (my DD doesn't like snorkling), lunch and drinks all day. These day sail excursions can take up to 6 people and we think it sounds so much better to have a personalized experience. It is a bit expensive for the 4 of us (we might want to find 2 other people who want to go) but it is all day and it does include everything.

I love the planning! I hope to get the excursions for St. Thomas up on the site by the end of this week!

Hi everyone
We got the greatest news today - DCL released military rates for our cruise - and we're going to save $1400 on our cabin!! And with that savings, we've upgraded to a cat 6 from a cat 8!!!!!!!!!
We are going to try and surprise the kids (DS, 13, DD, 9) but we're so excited I don't know if we'll be able to keep the secret....
Now we can start looking at all those great excursions.....
