8/15/09-Eastern-Tortola Treasure Seekers #4

Happy Sunday morning, guys! Long time no post!!! Anyway I'm just popping by to say hello and to let you know that even tho' we're not going to be a part of this Tortola cruise, we've been able to transfer our booking to the next (and final) one in September - so we will get to sail next year, just a little later than we originally thought...

We've had a little change in circumstances in the Taylor household as I have gone back to University to study full-time for three years! I'd been hoping to do it for a while but had been rejected twice before so I guess it's definitely a case of 3rd time lucky!!! The one downside of returning to Uni is the fact that I can no longer take so many vacations - ah well, it had to happen! I've cancelled two 2009 trips as they occur in term time - I am going to be a model student...

I hope all is well with the Treasure Seekers and I'll be popping back from time to time to say "HI!"

Hi Y'all!

Just popping by to let you know we're still on for this cruise! So sad we won't be sailing w/ the famous Custard Tart; good luck in school Karen, you can do it!

Been too busy to Dis (gasp!) probably b/c I spend my internet time these days addicted to Scrabble online at Pogo! I will have my travel Scrabble game on board if anyone's up for a game by the hot tubs!

Hope y'all had a great summer and are back into the swing of things. My 3 boys are off to a great start. We ended the summer w/ a trip to FL to visit the inlaws; we spent 2 days at Disney (Typhoon Lagoon and DisneyQuest) and I'm SO GLAD WE DID!!! It's not a vacation w/o a little Disney! We all had a blast, and we all even got a little pin trading in.

Earlier this month we had the Magic here for 2 weeks in dry dock - what a tease! Still, I loved coming around the bend and spotting her each day!

Hope to catch up w/ y'all soon and get to know you better. Til then, TTFN!

I'm sorry to say I won't be joining you in Tortola next summer I decided to purchase a small DVC contract, and the budget just wouldn't allow for both. The good news is I will be going to Disney World for the next 34 years. I hope all of you have a Magical time!
