Hello Everyone! It has been a really busy and slightly stressful week around here ...but it almost the weekend and it is time to get back on track! Only one week left of school and then I will feel like I have more time to focus on our trip.

I will also be more attentive to our web site after that point! I will be doing an update this weekend and plan on changing out a few photos to help keep us dreaming of our wonderful trip together!

Andrew - Your photos are wonderful! Makes me want to plan my own trip to Italy - it is a dream of mine to go there and we are going to have to make a plan to be sure it happens one day! Thanks for sharing with us.

Jude - I will also be one of those people who share my main gift with everyone...but...I will be adding a couple of extra things for a few people. I also have a question for you...this weekend I am going to time how long it takes me to do 5K (even if I have to walk most of it at this point )...how long does it take you to do 5K? I want to know what I should be working towards!!!

Laura - Hello Laura! I have loved the cards!!! Last night I was looking through WDW menus again and think we might try Mara one of our first nights there. It looked like it had some interesting selections and we have never been to the AKL before. The challenge will be how to get from Pop Century to AKL using Disney transportation. I am wondering if the fastest would be to take a bus to the AK and then take a bus to AKL?

Well, I should finish getting ready for school. We have a field trip today...loads of fun! The weather should be nice (yesterday I got a bad sunburn!) and I am hoping for a relaxing day with my students.

BTW Can you see anything different in " Epcot " Venice?

The tower here is on the right !
According to a rumour this happened because the Imagineers placed in the reverse way the Venice slide in the projector, so the building that they created was mirrored vs the real one !

I also liked very much that pic of the HOUSE MOVE !!!

Hi Jude,

I think everyone on the FE exchange list will just enjoy whatever gift comes their way, and of course enjoy giving the gifts they have to give.

I know what you mean about getting to know some people through their board participation and can see where you are coming from. I would think that giving your planned FE item (s) to each cabin and then a little something extra for people who you feel have helped you out with planning or who you have connected with would be perfectly fine...........

I'll second what mel and Kristin and Jen said !!
I feel that I know some families here better than others - some fellow cruisers have really helped a lot with any kind of info ... and often post on here ...
So I'm also thinking of some extra items for those whom I got to know better ...

ALL of my FE items will come from Italy - though I'm not sure about our final LUGGAGE WEIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!

Laura, This is my 2nd Disney cruise and I've never done FE before. I think getting gifts that are local to the area would be very cool. I went to Italy 20 + years ago on a tour with my dad. It was great! I hope to go visit Italy again sometime with DS and DH! I'm trying to figure out what to do for my FE gifts. There are some many great ideas on the boards, lots of talented Diser's out there.
Andrew-- I loved seeing your pictures. They brought back memories of my trip to Venice.

Thanks to everyone for their ideas about the FE. I've been re-reading the threads and realized how craft-challenged I am. But I'm having lots of fun planning them...
Kritter, will you be able to give us everyone's names sometime after June 5th? Some of the people are still listed as DH, DS, etc. As it gets closer I'd be interested to know how everyone "delivers" their goodies - at night like good old St Nick? or during the day? I'll need to keep a map of the ship so I don't get turned around!! (in addition to being craft challnged, also directionally-challenged!!)
Jen, I run about a 10 minute mile. Strictly middle/end of the pack. If pushed, I can go faster but why???? Tess and I are running the Freihofers Race for Women here in Albany this weekend. Only women and girls - about 3300 of them. although Tess has given me strict orders that she has to cross the finish line first!!! I'm running with a bunch of 3rd and 4th graders to make sure that everyone makes it through the race....
I'm away on military leave from Sunday til Friday but I'll have my laptop with me. I'll be in Charlottesville VA.

Today, I got to sub in first grade in the girls school. We took them on a field-trip to the Recycle Center. It was soooooooooooooo FUN,, now the girls want to recycle everything in sight.......

Have a great time in Charlottesville - we lived there for a few years and absolutely loved it! It's a beautiful place.

We'll be in Rocky Mount, NC for a baseball tourney - it will be a tough competition, but with all this rain and other schedule interruptions, it'll be great to get a "real" tournament in - I know I'm looking forward to it and I'm sure Kieran and his teammates are too!

Just popping in to say hi guys! I had a fabulous day yesterday, a trip to a day spa with some friends from when I went university which was blissful and then in the evening a meal out with girl friends!

i am working all day today, taking the shop to a craft day so hopefully lots of ladies all wanting to buy the new products! Won't be back til late but will be stopping by to catch up when I get home.

Hope everyone is well - Kristen have you and your family recovered now from your illnesses?

Andrew, I hope the post holiday blues are not too bad since there is only 11 weeks til our cruise!

Jen, I too am interested in the answer to your question about how long 5 k *should* take! I bet mine will be a lot slower than whatever answer you get!!!!
