I got my confirmation for our Vacation rental at Lake George today.

I then took a closer look at it and noticed the description of the unit did not match what I reserved.

So I call the number, It turns out the unit type I requested was not available when I called, but whoever took the order key in the wrong id.
It turns out they charged me for the RV Trailer I wanted, but resevred a small cabin (too small for us).

The person I spoke to took my number and said they would call me back.

When they called back,
They not only admitted they made a mistake, but they more than made up for it.

Now instead of the 29ft RV trailer, I will be getting a 40ft Rv Trailer at the price I paid for the 29 Ft unit.

Hi all! Good to read about some folks heading out on vacation!! We are still 15 days out from our Williamsburg trip. Ordered some tickets last night as Busch Gardens was offering 20% off the Bounce Pass. $98 (adult), $82 (kids) for BG, Water Country USA, and Colonial Williamsburg (parking included) for the whole week. Kids under 6 are free when getting these passes, too so thats a nice savings there. I hadn't seen any better prices out there so I went ahead and ordered them.

How is everyone else doing?

I'm tempted too but the kids want the "Bigger" screen this time to watch a movie on the plane. Plus,, Bruce may want to do some work if he needs to since we'll be gone for so long this time. Sometimes,, the blackberry just does not cut it. Heck,, free internet @ DVC now so why not....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh boy. Quiet day here! Hope everyone is having a good weekend. We saw Peter Pan today (on stage and starring Cathy Rigby!) It was pretty fun. Storms blew through tonight and ruined our local festival in the park though DW and DD9 just drove over to see if anything was still going on now that the rain stopped.

oh boy. Quiet day here! Hope everyone is having a good weekend. We saw Peter Pan today (on stage and starring Cathy Rigby!) It was pretty fun. Storms blew through tonight and ruined our local festival in the park though DW and DD9 just drove over to see if anything was still going on now that the rain stopped.

i remember seeing Peter Pan Starring Cathy Rigby when i was little. my weekend was good, my older sister took me to the mall to go to Old Navy. i bought 5 pairs of flip flops!!! i love flip flop sales LOL now im watching the Haunted Mansion on ABC. i love that movie, but i love the ride a whole lot better . storms have been coming and going after 3. the rain stoped for now.

Well we are @ Beautiful SSR in WDW!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoying, the free internet tonight........Tomorrow,, we are headed out to Hollywood Studios for SW Weekend.. It is the last day tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope all is well with everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep when it rains it pours.

We spotted a wet floor around the water heater. since the basement gets water during heavy storms we didn't think much of it.
But since the water has drained and most of that area is dry the area around the water heater is still wet.

Took a closer look and noticed a small drip on one of the legs. The water heater is up on blocks due to the wet basement condition.

Since this heater was installed in 1989, this heater doesn't owe anybody anything. Luckily its only a small drip, So I have time to get it replaced before it lets go.

Uggg Now isn't a good time to have to replace it, but I guess there never is a good time

Pretty much stayed in the pool all day today - a quick storm came through that chased us inside eventually.

Celebrated my birthday tonight (another year in the can....). DW gave me an iPod Touch so I've been busy playing with that!

I got a Touch for Christmas. It's a great toy! I'm now planning to move to the iphone this fall. Itouch got me ready!
