Your not the only one without a WII fit. We don't even have a WII (or any other gaming system for that matter). Just a computer:surfweb:

Sharon-

I was adamant that we would never have a gaming system in this house, until the Wii came along. But I still don't want the others.

Ok so I made one stop today to try to find a WII Fit. No go at the closest Target. Soon I'll be on a mission and hit every Best Buy, Game Stop and Target around.

Jeff-
Good luck finding one. I know our stores around here have been completely sold out since day 2. The last I checked on ebay, they were going for 50% more than retail. But with any luck, fairly soon the hype will die down.

Does anyone know if you can link on the web and play Wii Fit (or other games for that matter) against other people on-line? I thought I'd heard it could be done. Not that I want to do that. I already get beat by an 8 year old. I don't need to humiliate myself against other adults!

Hey Frank! You know this crowd too well. :lmao: How on earth did you get a Wii so quickly?! Did you play? What games came with yours? The sports pack? I need to do Wii Fit tonight. I am sure my personal trainer is going to yell at me.

My kids actually get out of school this week, so no year round for us. Some of the districts here are year-round but it's mainly the city district and charter schools. I really think I would lose my mind if my kids went year round, just for the homework factor. We try to tag-team them with homework but more often than not, I am doing homework with both of them, which all said can take 2 hours a night. When are you looking to move? Another state is pretty big. Good luck with that!

It's not the crowd I was worried about! Found it at Target, it came in a bundle pack with the Wii, Wii Fit and a hinkey sports pack (tennis racket, golf club, ball bat, steering wheel). It came with one sports game but I picked up another, Deca Sports, or something like that. 10 games on one disk. Did I play? 6 foot 2 inches of twisted steel and sex appeal already, who needs Wii Fit (Yes!! I finally worked it in - Go ahead, laugh it up, that's what it's there for - consider it my gift to you). The nice thing about being narcissistic is you're always with a loved one. And yes I played and was beaten badly. Another state is pretty big Well I walked into that one just like the village idiot. The agency I work for has a regional office in Aurora, CO. The position hasn't opened up just yet, waiting on funding, but we've looked at some of the towns and houses just south of there.

I know when I was setting it up last night there was some Bla Bla Bla about an internet connection, so it seems logical.

So I must ask..agency? are you in PR or advertising? or some other kind of agency thing. I ask only because I have my own PR firm... and thus am curious if I have a kindred soul.

:lmao: There is always tomorrow. I'm used to being beaten badly. Video games are not my forte.

So, do you like snow and cooler weather?! ;)

Well, when its 115 degrees here in the valley, it sounds pretty darn good! Of course actually living in it should prove to be a whole other world.

Uh oh. Everybody RUN!! :rotfl2: Just kidding. ;) Are you involved in covert operations? Oh wait, if you told us you'd probably have to............well you know the rest.

I could give you a severe paper cut....and it would probably get infected!!! Well, maybe.

Well, when you are up to your b!!tcheeks in snow, THEN you'll hate it. But until then, it won't be so bad. Anything probably would sound more appealing than 115!

I think its a toss-up, either a staple under the fingernail or a paper cut on the tongue.

So i just read that they changed the age groupings in the kids clubs. It used to be 5-7, 8-9, 10-12...now it's 5-7, 8-10 and 11-13. What is problematic about this is that we are traveling in November with good friends from Orlando who will have an 11 year old with them and she and my DD (who will be 10 on that cruise) are inseparable friends. They won't be in the same groups in the clubs. My DD will be devastated.

Hey Jeff, when you check Lizzie in, tell them that she has a friend in the other group and you would like Lizzie to be in with her. On our last cruise Mel made a friend who was older and therefore in the older group. We told the staff the situation and they moved her up. No problems.

Yeah I thought I could do that....I'm only worried that putting a 10 year old in with 13 year olds is a bit of a stretch and not sure how I feel about that. I just wish they would have kept it as is.

OK, I see now what you mean. I wonder if her friend could move down?
