G'morning all!
Happy Friday!

Hey Harry - you ready for the big series to start? I am definitely excited to watch. I was an idiot and when tix went on sale (something like 2,000) I was in my car and couldn't get home in time to try to get through to ticketmaster. I think they sold out in 11 minutes. :rotfl: I'm so used to having tickets to the things I really love (Pitt basketball and to a lesser degree football) that it's hard to have to know I can't make it inside for this series!

How about a friendly wager? Loser of the series buys the winner the first drink at the DIS meet onboard the Magic?

Hey Kristin! I thought of you last night. My DSis called and said they just got done pouring a patio and she was out shopping for some gardening stuff.

Have you been playing the Wii lately? We still don't have one. My boss ended up reserving two Wii Fits (from two different places) and asked me if I wanted to buy one from her. I told her YES but now I am wondering if it will be compatible with both versions of Wii, since the new version is coming out this year and who knows when we'll finally get our hands on one. Do you know if everything is supposed to be compatible? Or maybe Harry can answer this? (Mr. Stay up super late in long lines for games ;) )

OH,, gosh how is DSIS????

Bruce, has played the WII but not like he used to. Now that it is nice outside we are working out in the yard. We had 15 yards of mulch delivered on Monday. Since Bruce was busy with work he ended up working from home yesterday afternoon and he got a lot of it done. We are going to finish it up on Sunday.

We need to plant some plants around our addition!!!!!

I'll take the wager (though with the loss of Timmonen, I think the Flyers are in trouble!)... I also think I owe several other people a drink on this cruise already, too!

Hi everyone! Any Mom's have any big plan's this weekend???

I got tired of waiting for Disney to post November hours so I went ahead today and made some ADRs. Unlike most people, we try to steer clear of certain parks when they have extended hours (AM really - the PM hours sometimes work for us) so hopefully we won't have to change any ADRs. We have a little bit of everything reserved so far (Princesses - Akershus breakfast and 1900 Park Fare dinner; Chef Mickey's, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Boma...)

Wow you do have a bit of everything. For our trip in two weeks :cool1: we have Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare Dinner, Le Cellier (never been but always wanted to), Boma (though we may have to cancel that one), OHana for breakfast, Narcoosees (never been always wanted to) and Sci Fi Drive In.

Yes I heard that on the radio this morning. You never know, though. I can remember a series in 1993 when the Pens were playing the Islanders and someone big got hurt in game seven of the previous series. Optimism raged until the Pens got knocked out by a David Volek goal in game 7. So you never know. That's why playoff hockey is so much fun.

The city is starting to go nuts over this team. The Pens have a huge screen tv set up outside the arena and fans who don't have tix have gathered there to watch each game. the first game had about 300 people but the last game of the Rangers' series had more than 3,500. they say the plaza can accommodate only about 4,000 so I'll be curious to see the news as to how many show up tonight. On the early edition, they showed people already set up on the lawn at 4 p.m.

Harry,

We are headed into the city tomorrow!!!!!!!!

Cool - what plans do you have?

We actually are going in to meet some friends from our Oct. cruise and we are going to go to American Girl, (of course), and to World of Disney, and Toys ' R Us.. Then we are eating at Tony's NYC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly I haven't really talked to DSis since before you left on your trip. I haven't asked any questions so I'm not sure what is going on.

Wow, 15 yards! That's alot of work!

Have a terrific time tomorrow! (It's tomorrow you go to NYC right?) I hope the weather is good for you.

Harry, Called my DVC guide today thinking about making an add-on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we go to book our WDW trip I'm going to have to ask you guys a ton of questions. I know nothing about what you are talking about. :scared:

What are you doing for DW? This weekend is busy for us. Tonight was a school PTO fundraiser, so I was on my feet for 4 1/2 hours being the money woman. Tomorrow is a t-ball game, then a cookout with friends tomorrow night. Sunday we are taking the in-laws out to lunch then going to my mom's for dinner. Monday will be here far too soon.

We had our teacher appreciation lunch Monday. Fortunately all I had to do was leave work, drop off the food I provided, and run back to work. The other PTO moms who don't work day jobs were there to oversee it.

Are you crazy woman?! You agreed to a PTA position?! :rotfl2: On my way out the door tonight the PTO president grabbed my arm asking me if I was going to please come back next year as the Treasurer. I told her yeah. I've already been shadowing the Treasurer this whole year in preparation for taking over next year. Might as well stick with the plan.

Wow! That's a big job! I will stick with the Treasurer position. It's pretty involved as far as taking care of all the money, hiring our winter fundraiser performer, and ordering all the items for our Christmas shop and spring carnival. But the President and volunteer coordinators have the most duties. I'm sure it helps that you are already pretty well known at the school! You should have seen the faces of some of the people tonight when I went around collecting their money. They looked at me like "who the h&@l are you?".
