OT: I just have to ask this............. do any of you eat organically or use "green" products in your houses? I've started to switch over to some organic foods and am in the process of incorporating "green" cleaning products into our house. I'm looking for recommendations on stuff. I'm trying to figure out if changes I make will help DS with his ADD. I've read lots of conflicting information regarding chemicals in foods and household products in relation to ADHD/ADD. I figure it can't hurt at all to try new things.
I am starting to bring more organic foods into our home as well as trying to avoid High Fructose Corn Syrup.
Have a look to see if there is an organic delivery service in your area. We have a few round here
I have just started trying one of them out - it is nice having a delivery of fruits and veg once a week. The service I am using has just merged with another service called SPUD (www.spud.com) - if you are in their delivery areas, it is worth trying out. But google Organic Delivery Service for your area.As someone mentioned, Costco have more and more organic produce including some organic meats. Whole Foods are good, but expensive and not everything there is organic - you have to shop wisely.
Safeway Supermarket are also getting more and more organic items in. I think they are common in California, perhaps not so much on the East Coast.
