I'm all good thanks, Abby! Apart from the fact that the exfoliating facial I gave myself earlier removed most of my Bajan tan! I'm such an idiot...

I didn't take too many photos, I'm afraid - I wasn't in the mood, I guess but here's a few...

Samuel in the surf. The camera really doesn't do it justice as I've never seen an ocean look so many vibrant hues of blue - it went from indigo, to teal, to turquoise and ended up aquamarine... Gorgeous...

Hi Harry and all my fellow cruisers! Hope everyone is having a good Monday!

I'm just back from the gym after a session with the Personal Trainer and I got to try the Power Plates for the first time which was a lotta fun - if a little strange!

Got quite a few chores to get on with today sooo catch you later...

...I have just received my May Double Dip cruise tickets from the fantastic Fed Ex lady!!! So time for me to do this...

I'm not sure. She's booked but it is her daughters' second week of school. I just told her we couldn't afford any other dates because they are way more expensive, and we absolutely can't take Hayden out of school again. So for us, this is literally the only week we can cruise. ITA about DH's family coming! The RV/National parks trip sounds great. How old are her kids? Are they old enough to appreciate that kind of vacation? Mine would pick Disney any day over that!

My neice will be 15 and nephew will be 11, so I think they are good ages for that. I think Jordan would pick Disney too, but I think she is a bit young to appreciate that kind of trip yet. I think she would have fun, but not "get it", like the older kids. We will do that trip when she is older.

Is this the right thread to say that our family will be on the Aug.15th Tortola cruise? It will be our 4th DCL cruise. It will be me, DH, DS(8) and DD(5).
Newbie here so I'm still getting used to posting and such.
Looking forward to the cruise which seems soooo far away!!!

LOL well this is the last week of school for me (thank god lol) until spring break!!! i just got a notification in the mail today about my SENIOR PORTRAIT!!!! wow junior year is almost over. this school year has gone by so fast.

Hello Everyone - Add my family in for the 8/15/09 cruise. This will be our 4th DCL cruise and we are DVC members. Our last cruise was in June, 2006 when we double dipped at Castaway Cay. We've also been on the Western and the 4 night Bahamas. It will be my DH, DS will be 16 and DD will be 12. We'll be visiting Vero Beach next week, our home resort, and Hilton Head for July 4, our other home resort, but can't wait for next year for this cruise. I've always wanted to visit Tortola.

You were sooo right. Darn it. No cat 9 cabins left on deck 2. Who would have thought an entire category on a deck would sell out 16 months before a cruise?? OMG. So we took a gulp and got a cat 8 on deck 5. Now I need to look for reports on the room. Have to say though, DU was awesome in finding a great price for us. Go, Tracy!
And it's finally sunny in upstate NY (although i still had to scrape my windows on the car this morning...)Yes, all you warm-climate folks can grin....

But we're on our way to the countdown to Tortola!!! WOOOHOOOO

My project hit another small bump in the road today. There was a meeting and all that good stuff - won't be long now hopefully (barring some miraculous turnaround!!).

I'm glad to hear you got booked though! Is Tracy at Dreams going to keep an eye out for a Cat. 9 Deck 2 for you, or are you going to stick with the Cat. 8? I still can't believe deck 2 cat 9 is sold out!

Spring is slowly on its way!!!!! I bet you'll be thrilled when you can quit scraping! I've parked in our garage all winter (my first time ever parking in a garage) so I've been spoiled this year in not having to scrape. Today we started warming up again, and got into the 50's.

Took about 6 and 1/4 hrs from CT, But then I took a break every 2 hrs. My knee was throbbing most of the way down.


Just heard the POPE is going to be in the DC area tomorrow, so I guess the roads are going suck.
