Hi All,

We are back from Williamsburg! Had a great time:cool1: . The weather was very good. Mostly sunny and not too hot. I would say it was mid 80's everyday. We had one cloudy day and one aftertoon of a thunderstorm, other than that it was nice. The first 4 days we spent touring Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Ripley's museum, and Virginia Living Museum. The last three days we spent relaxing and enjoying the Great Wolf Lodge.

Samantha have a great time on your trip to Williamsburg!

Abby-Sorry you won't be joining us on the cruise, but please stay in touch, you will be missed!

Sounds like another great trip to Williamsburg!! I really want to do Great Wolf Lodge- that place looks really nice.

It's hard to believe the cruise is finally *just* a year away. Unfortunately I will not be going on this cruise after all. I have really enjoyed getting to know each of you, and I was thrilled to get in on this group from day 1!! There have been LOTS of laughs to say the least!! I hope you all have a terrific next year working your way towards cruise time, and I hope you don't mind if I pop in every now and then to see how you all are doing. :grouphug:

Abby

You will always be part of our cruise, stop by anytime.

Hi Nikki, Harry

Yep we are back, just picked up the pets from boarding, uggg it was more than I expected. somehow I estimated wrong.

I am off this week too, so now maybe I will get to relax some

Last Tuesday started out well, oh at least I thought.

Your know that nagging feeling you forgot something or to do something.
I packed the car, loaded the roof rack and attached the bike rake and bikes.

Mail and paper was stopped for the week, Timers were set for the lights.

We locked the house and were off.

On time yet.

Still it went too well, oh well if we forget something, we properly didn't need it.

We had driven about two hundred miles, stopped for lunch and has about another 100 miles to go, and then it dawn on me what I forgot.

A little background,
In 1995 I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I use a cpap machine to help me keep my air passage ways open at night. I used it every night since without fail

Yep it was my machine, When we were packing the car, I remember saying to Beth, I needed to go back in the bedroom and get my machine.

Well packing the roof rack and attached the bike rack and bikes took longer and was hard work on a hot humid morning.
I came back in the house thinking the car trunk, roof rack and bikes were all loaded. I even walked in the bedroom to make sure the lights were off, but Beth and I didn't see the machine was still on the night stand.

We had left at 11 am, and stopped for lunch around 12:30. I takes about 5 hrs with rest stops and lunch to get to the campground. It was now 2:30pm I was at the point 1 1/2 hrs to the Lake and about the same to back to home.

If it was almost anything else, I would have continued on, but next exit I got off and headed back home. We got back home at 4pm.
Pick up my machine, used the bathroom and back into the car

Had dinner on the road too, and got to the lake at 9pm.

In total our 5hr trip took 10hrs.

We had a great time even with the packing issue.
No one to get mad at except myself. First time in all these years I forgot my machine.:sad2:

OMG Ed, I hate when stuff like that happens. Well, at least you enjoyed the rest of your trip, and you can RELAX this week.

Hey Kristen, if (or rather when;) ) we add on, we will get 100 developer points that we have to use at Saratoga Springs- so we are staying there the week before the cruise. So any info you have on the resort or good buildings would be appreciated. Thanks!!:goodvibes

Abby - Please stay in touch! Who's going to keep me in line around here?! :rotfl:

Thanks Harry! :) You are insinuating that I was able to keep you in line? :rotfl2: I'm good but not that good! ;) I do plan on staying in touch. The bouncing needs to be strictly monitored, although there hasn't been any bouncing going on lately. What gives?! :rotfl:
