By the way, DS(12) got me last night! He snuck out of another room and I had my back turned! Luckily he's not "fully trained" in that skill yet and he only got the shorts!
It's the kids' first ice show as they have been rotating the "boy oriented" Disney ice shows in Pittsburgh the last couple of years and the little one wants to see princesses! this one is for her big sister...though emily knows all the words to "Fabulous" from HSM2. Oh, if I play my cards right I can get than at home, too!

I'm with you there. I love riding anything but as I get older it is becoming a little more painful. Wow you folks are one prolific posting bunch. Took me a while to catch up and that was just from yesterday afternoon! Sounds like you had a fun night chatting!
Not too much new here. We are having all new appliances delivered today as we are finally finishing what we started 18 months ago when we remodeled our kitchen and added on to the house. Our dishwasher was recently recalled and our oven is broken so with the rebate check on the DW and the need to finish the project, we ordered everything and it's all coming at any moment. Can't wait for the rush of fun when I have to unload the fridge into coolers and bags while they change that out.
Tonight we are going to see High School Musical on Ice!
Saturday I think we are supposed to be snowed in. Have I mentioned how sick I am of winter? If we are snowed in, I am going to tackle cleaning up our basement and trying once again to turn it into the playroom it is supposed to be, rather than just where we throw everything we don't know what to do with. When we built our house, we were so excited to be able to finish the basement for this purpose but alas it has never realized its potential.
Sunday is the last Pitt basketball home game of the season so it is a semi busy weekend.

1. The guys show up and announce that they can't install the dishwasher. Something about the plumber's union and that Home Depot should have told us that. Nice to find out as they are wheeling it in. The good news is that HD is going to send a plumber out to do it at their cost since it was their screw up. The question now is when....
2. The microwave doesn't work. They installed it. Tested it. Nothing. Tested the electrical line. It was fine. Verdict: Microwave a dud. Have to try again next week with another one. Reinstalled old one.
3. Oven. Banged up. Pretty much a complete loss. Must try again when they bring the microwave.
4. They are currently installing the icemaker on the fridge. I hope when I go back upstairs that it actually works. It'd be nice to have ONE of our new appliances for which we scheduled our whole day around...
5. Where is the wine?
Good times.
Seriously though, that bites big time. It never fails though that you don't receive things as promised. 
Crack open that bottle of wine!

We are just having rain. I have a busy weekend- Jordan starts ballet tomorrow, then a baby shower for one of my best friends, who is also my DH's cousin. It will be insane, 40-50 people at a hall, with about 20 kids running around, my DH's family is wild.

We are just having rain. I have a busy weekend- Jordan starts ballet tomorrow, then a baby shower for one of my best friends, who is also my DH's cousin. It will be insane, 40-50 people at a hall, with about 20 kids running around, my DH's family is wild.
I'm working 7-11 then picking him up and going. I don't want to be around him without food any longer than I have too. If he had scheduled it farther out he may have gotten a morning surgery, but he decided to get it done ASAP.
