We love Palo Brunch and are also planning on doing that again (with luck as you note!)

I've never been referred to as "The likes of" before But I think I'll be officially joining "the group" and thus invited and not among "the likes of!"

I've been called worse!! Abby already knows to be watching her back, too!

Awwwww, no offense intended!! "The likes of" was intended affectionately. I want you with us!! And yeah Jeff, I don't know how much you got to read of the first thread, but when you are around Harry, watch your back, literally.

I think we may have gotten a half an inch yesterday!! But we are supposed to be getting a bad storm, of course it still isn't doing anything outside here either. Anybody see Survivor?? It was good!! Big Brother last night was good too.

This show is really ticking me off this year. Do you like any of the people? I can't figure out who I'm rooting for. Natalie seems fine. She reminds me of Cheri Oteri from SNL! And maybe Chelsia and James? I know it's all in the editing, but the other people are being edited to look like real jerks.

The end really threw me for a loop!!!!!! (the baby) I was yelling at the tv "Aaron??!". Something must happen to Claire and she doesn't make it off. And why did Hurley say there were 6 survivors in his flashforward, Jack said 8 while on the stand, and there were really 43 or so? This is difficult going into the future now. And was Sayid's story last week with Ben at the end (or was it the week before) a flashback or flashforward?? So we know Jack, Kate, and Hurley make it off, but who else does?

Have a good day everyone! I'm kind of lonely without Karen on here so early! It looks like our forecasted super duper winter storm is now a bust. We'll still have more snow, and freezing rain, but they are saying this morning it's not going to be as bad as thought last night. Be careful, if it is headed your way.

For my OCT. cruise she is offering either a welcome Cocktail reception, or a Palo's Brunch. Plus, in stateroom gifts.. The group will get to decide she said as it gets closer!!!

Well school is out today. They just canceled after posting a 2 hour delay earlier. As I work from home this just became a day of locking myself in my home office in order to get anything done.

Have any of you gone on the Mexican Riviera cruises in the past? We are bouncing back and forth between planning that with a five night post-cruise stay in So Cal (where I used to live so I am very familiar and can visit old haunts). OR a four night double dip with a week at WDW. Decisions Decisions.

Well I Made it to work, we have about 2 1/2 to 3 inches on the gound right now, main roads passable , but rut covered, side roads nope

25 mins drive took 55

Oh well maybe when its time to go home the roads will be better.

Can't help you with that one, We were going to be an one of the Riviera cruises, but moved our reservation to this cruise instead. Airfare, and cost of trip to west coast from here was getting to much for me.

Was on a 7 day double dip in 06 and it was great.

Honestly the last time I saw Al Gore's face on TV talking about it, I believe I yelled at the TV: Come to Pittsburgh in February and then let's talk. I'm sooooooooooooo tired of it. The ice that is pelting the window right now is especially lovely.

Thats one thing I try to do all the time.
Those of us who made it into work were saying, its a good thing we all have over 30 years driving experience, it really pays off on days like this.

I actually like Chelsia and James(he is a bit odd though)LOL Anyway, I can't stand Amanda(her voice is like a scraping chalkboard to me)but I like Alex, I like the Boston guy, but the girl does remind me of Cheri Oteri. Have you been on jokers updates, they tell who Chelsia and James nominated.

Well, it was sleeting all night, they closed almost all of Maryland schools today, my mom works for Baltimore city schools, so she is off. That was good, so I didn't have to take Jordan to daycare, just on my way to my car, took her there(she lives next door) Anyway Jordan came out of her room last night about 10:30 and said mom I think I have to throw up, calmly went into the bathroom, put her head over the toilet and threw up, said can I get sip of water, I got that for her, she went back in her room, and went to sleep. What was that??? It was almost funny, she felt OK this morning, no fever, but glad she can stay home with my mom for some TLC.
