Ahh yes, the great April Fools Day Blizard. I remember that one! I was living in Boston then and we got about 2-3ft of snow!!

Nothing going on here yet - usually bad storms start up here a couple of hours before hitting your area I imagine.... I think we are on the snow/rain line again - could go either way....

I wish, came in the office this morning and was greeted by most of our QA applications down, Turns out last night the database team was doing some maintence and the server crashed on them and hasn't come up since.

Its been a bad day at work so far, servers down all over the place.
Most of my applications we support are down, but nothing my group can do, The database team has all the problems today.

Snow on the way. they say it will start about 2 hrs before evening commute home so tonights drive is going to be a real pain in the ....

Well it could be worse, I could be working on the database team Not really that bad of a day,

I got my state and federal tax refunds back, my knee isn't hurting today,
at least not more than what I would call normal for a change.

Mmmm, well, I was supposed to do a million and one chores BUT went to the gym for PT and felt so wiped out when I returned that I've spent most of the day on the sofa... V poor...

That is very frustrating. I always hated that when I was in the hospital and the dr. would say they were coming to see me and they never did. DH got so very frustrated he called the dr. answering service and had the dr. paged and had him call his cell phone back... He did not like it but he never told Bruce and I he would be there to meet with us and did not show up ever again...Hey, our time is precious too...!!!!!!!!

Well, my Mom and sister have talked to the doctor now, they are sending my Dad to do abdominal and cardial(sorry if misspelled) ultrasounds. The xrays were OK from yesterday. They are unsure why my Dad's blood sugar keeps on dropping, this morning it was 30 and 92 degrees temp- , then they gave him breakfast he felt better. They won't let him leave until his blood sugar is regulated. I hope things get better.

OMG- you guys are crazy! 4 pages in 12 hours!!!! I'm impressed! It's going to take me days to get caught up....and isn't this thread #2? YIKES

On my last cruise thread we did 1-2 pages a day and that was in the weeks right before! 18 months out.....oh boy, we'll need some live chats as we get closer!! I'm a big talker though so I think I should be able to do my part too

Well, gotta go...have some reading to do....

I've seen some days where its closer to 8 to 10 pages a day Not so much now that its on to thread #2

I tivo it every time it's on, and after I watch my DH deletes it. Then I tape it again when it comes back on. It's a vicious cycle!! I do cry as well!! Abby, you asked how long my Dad was on dialysis in an earlier post- he is going on his 3rd year.

Well my Dad is still in the hospital, I went after work until about 9:30 last night. My Mom left with me, the doctor never came and told us what was going on, and they said he would be there today. My sister came down from Pa. last night to go with my Mom today, plus her DH is a doctor (although he treats cancer patients) so she is hoping he can talk to one of the doctor's at the hospital. My Dad is feeling alot better, though, so that's good.

Wow Nikki. It's good that he is feeling better but you still need some answers!! Keep pressing for info.
