I do it too. It keeps the peace, so I'd rather mutter and roll my eyes inside than say something out loud! I'm sure DH does it just as much as me too.

One has to gauge whether or not it's actually worth the argument or not (to say it aloud) - the reality being that the husband will lose said argument anyway so why even bother?!

See, then I'm doing DH a favor by keeping most of my comments to myself because then we don't argue and he doesn't lose.

No. It never makes me feel better, which is why I rarely ever do it. I'm a lover, not a fighter. But when I have some bonehead arguing with me over something written down in black and white, wasting my time, then the gloves come off!

I don't like fighting with my DH - used to, but now I feel like life's too short. I always ask myself "who is this an issue for?" before getting mad at him - if just for me, I take a deep breath and leave it alone...



Oh my!!! I don't think I have ever done that!!! Maybe I'm not a woman!!!

Or maybe being married for over 25 years has something to do with it...???

I am the same way. Just about everything is not worth the fight to me. I don't ever want to say anything that I'll regret because once I say it, it is out there for ever. Hence, lots of muttering and eye rolling. My kids do plenty of fighting for all of us, and it drives me crazy!!!!! I need peace!

I am doing well, but I think my DD is sick. And wouldn't you know we are supposed to go away for the weekend.

Hopefully she is feeling better in the next couple of days!!!

The owner actually showed up at four o'clock and was upset that they did not get more done today.. I told John that they worked their tails off in the cold all day no lunch break at all...He wanted the second floor to be up today....They might come tomorrow in the rain they said...UGH!!!!!!!!
The gusy keep telling us that they would rather be working than not at all...!!!!! The tarped it all so it would not get soaked tomorrow. The kids and I went out and walked under the tarp and it was Fun they thought it was a BIG playhouse...!!!! Bruce was not happy when I told him that it looked small to me. He just rolled his eyes that almost 700 square feet looks small to me...

That's almost 1/2 the size of my house!! I'd be in heaven! I bet you'll be VERY happy with it when it's all said and done. Those poor guys. I feel bad for these guys working outside. DH was a popsicle when he got home yesterday.

Well she woke up this morning with a 101.8 fever, so it looks like I will be hear a lot today. It is really funny because she is never sick and the only times she has ever run a fever has always been on the week of valentines day. She is soooo sad about maybe missing the party tomorrow.

I would think it's fairly easy to forecast over there - rain, fog, rain, fog, - is there anything else?!

My meeting was cancelled at 6:15 this AM.... mostly rain now (but heavy rain).... the ice/snow line has now moved well to our north... February 13 - still no snow here!

It started to yesterday. The kids are greatfull to go to school. Next week they have three days off so it will be long days...!!!!!!!!!!!

Great advice Karen... That is something my DH would say he hates to fight...!!!!!!!!!!!!He never really will argue back. He just wants a peaceull home is what he always says..!!!!!!

Great advice Karen... That is something my DH would say he hates to fight...!!!!!!!!!!!!He never really will argue back. He just wants a peaceull home is what he always says..!!!!!!

Abby, my parents spent their lives fighting each other - it was horrible to witness. But at least I learnt it wasn't for me!! I'm a glass half-full kinda person and my DH is a wonderful man so I accept his screw-ups, he accepts mine and we stay happy...

Snow here and Ice. NO SCHOOL!!!!! The kids were crying today their student-teacher was coming back from the Fall for a visit and it was the 100th day of school!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So much Ice here that the tarps my contractor hung have all collapased in....UGH!!!! They have one heck of a mess when they come tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
