Me, too. Not that I worked hard today, but I had to suffer through a day-long meeting....one of those Six Sigma things.... it was LONGGGGG....

I've been tryig to get our bedroom all packed up we are getting our hardwood layed down in here on Monday and my bedroom set is going on Friday to make way for the new stuff...just a plain mess everywhere around here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT??!!! You'd want a day where you're dealing with people who woke up and must have taken stupid pills? By the end of the day I was ready to stick my foot through my monitor or hurl it at someone. And I can't drink anything because DH is laid up in bed. So instead I just grumbled my way through the evening.

WHAT??!!! You'd want a day where you're dealing with people who woke up and must have taken stupid pills? By the end of the day I was ready to stick my foot through my monitor or hurl it at someone. And I can't drink anything because DH is laid up in bed. So instead I just grumbled my way through the evening.

I would think that would be all the more reason to have a few drinks, no?!

It IS indeed a good reason for a few drinks but I figure I better be sober and responsible since I'm the only adult around here able to take care of the kids.

And can any of you guys tell my exactly why my DH isn't taking his pain pills? He has them, he's allowed to take them, but he isn't. He's in enough pain that he lays in bed 24/7. He told me he doesn't move because it hurts. Well DUH! At 4am this morning he sounded like he was in pain so I asked him and he said yes. I reminded him about the little things called pain pills, at which point he said OK, he'd take one. I don't get it. His doc wrote him 3 refills of vicodin which should last for 2 weeks if he was taking it regularly, but he thinks that 1 1/2 days of it will suffice? I'm really tired this week and my patience and sympathy are wearing thin.

BTW, HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I have a PTO fundraiser to work tonight and there seem to be alot of PTO members bickering about this and that. I REALLY don't need this crap. So I think after I get home tonight and the kids are in bed I AM going to drink a few.

Nah, you can have that part - I keep my interaction with other people to an absolute minimum as I find it works best for all concerned!!! I just meant the 'coming home and drinking' bit. That I like and can do. Very well. But not when I'm sitting around waiting for offspring and partners to call so I can pick 'em up from the train station...
