Been doing some more vacation planning, looking at possible trip to Jamestown NY( Lucy Desi Museum) & Niagara Falls on the way home from Piegon Falls.

In the UK , we've been there and done that soooo many times... Politics is a filthy business and history repeatedly tells us that no one's more dirty than the guy (or gal) who shouts to the world that he's squeaky clean...

Your adage rings so true in this case - with the so called Mr Clean - Spitzer.

SO in passing through (I was fishing to see what was posted after my little drive by posting yesterday) ,,, I'll share that I am officially the sole survivor in our home now. Everyone is SICK - Alicia has had a mild fever (100-101) a couple of days, Julianna has had a high fever from last Thursday til sunday - then roller coaster moderate fevers, coughing and the doc says she almost got a mild pneumonia started, and just today Kalea came home from P-school with 103.6 temp. Only Julianna is on medication (Omnicef) which just started today - and tomorrow we'll take kalea to see the doc. We delayed on J because the Docs advised we wait - however with K we'll go in immediately on account of travel we have on the coming weekend.

OK.. aside from that - everything else is about the same - in 3 weeks we'll be in Yosemite for some winter play, in 2 weeks we have skiing again, this week it's San Diego with BIL from Boston.

OK... time to continue wandering backards here a bit.... ;)

Hey K!

The expansion is coming along nicely! This reminds me that we have yet to prodceed with the additon I was thinking about some time ago. It seems so much seems to crowd out our thinking - and shift our planning sometimes.

At any rate - it looks like great fun!

Cheers!:goodvibes

Good morning, everyone! :wave2: Happy Hump Day! :rotfl2:

The howling winds are still giving my poor old house a battering and I'm a little nervous about the state of the garden furniture which seems to have been blown into the pond... It looks like part of our neighbours tree has ended up in our garden and the back gate has been virtually blown off it's hinges... I'm officially bored now! :sad2:

Hi Karen! That weather sounds crazy! How long is this supposed to last? Stay indoors or you might get blown away!

Good morning everybody, I got my airfare for the return trip for May today, and bought my park tickets for this years trip and next years. I saved about $200- by getting non expiring 6 day tickets, instead of a 4day pp for this year, and a 2day pp for next years trip!!:yay: I also arranged Magical Express for our trip, as we aren't getting a car this trip. I am getting excited!! We haven't been to the parks by ourselves yet (my DH, myself, and Jordan) so it will be nice with just us three. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Great news, Nikki! :thumbsup2 I just pre-booked parking at our departure airport for the May trip - I like to park in the short stay as it's just a 2 minute walk from arrivals and, if booked in advance, it can be half price or less!!! :woohoo:

I've got to get my DH a WDW park ticket - probably going to get him one of the non-expiry ones as I prefer them. My DD will redeem an annual pass so we can pick up a DDE card but I've still got several days left on my 10 day non-expiry ticket from December so all's good there... :goodvibes

Love ME transfer - it's so relaxing compared to picking up a car. Especially when you've just got off an 8+ hour flight... ;)

Thanks to your prompting, I've now ordered DH's ticket too which will see us thro' this trip and August 2009!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I really wanted to get the 10 day non expire- but it was rather expensive for us right now. We are going to Atlanta at the end of June, so I just booked our hotel, and aquarium tickets for that, we're going to the Georgia Aquarium. My cousin lives a couple of hours past there, so we are spending the following days with her and her family while we are there. I'm going to try to convince her to do our cruise while we are there:cool1: , she did the 3day DCL a week before our cruise and loved it, 1 of her sons has autism and they were unsure how he would do on the cruise, he loved it, so now they want to do a longer one.

If it wasn't for the still favourable $/£ exchange rate, I would have had 2nd thoughts, Nikki. Plus I'm only buying one this time around... ;)

Sounds like a good trip to Atlanta - hope you can convince your cousin and her family to join the cruise... :thumbsup2

They are interested in doing the Eastern one, so I hope so!! She has 4 sons- ages ranging from 6-15.:goodvibes

That is great Nikki... I wish I had known that you were going to get park tickets now. DH's work was offering a discount and we did not need to use it since we have an annual pass. I would have passed it along to you to use....!!!!!!!!!
