Where at?? I was just on hold for about 25 minutes with DVC MS- finally hung up, I'm at work so had to answer the phone, I'll call back later, because I never got the tickets.

Yeah I personally don't think any human being is worth THAT much money unless they are saving lives. But then I'm not a big pro sports fan (I like college hoops and football) so maybe I'm biased.

I tend to agree on the whole "what people are worth" thing as well.... but, as long as people (myself included) continue to buy tickets, merchandise, etc. etc. then there is no stopping the flow of dollars. I

We are big Steelers fans here - and usually the Steelers have been "thrifty" over the years and still manage to put forth a decent product most years. I was shocked at the $$$ he got though. That being said, unless they have some extra $$ tucked away somewhere to replace Faneca, poor Ben is going to spend a lot of time on his butt again next year!

Hi everyone!! Hope you all are having a good day/week. Can I hide in somebody's suitcase for the upcoming trips some of you have planned? Pretty please?????????? I'll even babysit for ya!

Winter has GOT to end!!! This new storm coming our way tomorrow is supposedly going to dump around 8 inches on us. Based on the meteorologists track record this winter though, it'll either be nothing or two feet. With DH's surgery on Monday we were going to run around and get things done this weekend but now we are doing some things tonight to avoid the bad weather.

I can't find the ketchup. Can someone please pass some my way?!

Well I liked it but nobody else would eat it! Guess I won't be making that again. It gets very old that the kids won't eat what we make most of the time. What did you end up doing tonight? Did you have to threaten any construction workers with their lives today?!

This might make you smile. DD just now discovered she had her underwear on backwards all day.

Today was a day for people and applications not to follow procedure, among other things.

Started with one of the development teams calling a release an emergency release ( turns out no emergency( system down) just they didn't submit the paperwork in time so they wanted to bypass the release process.

Then they take all day to get everything in place, we completed the release just at the close of the day.

Then a team in Cologne Germany tried to sneak in a change to point a database connection to a server over there instead of here, even tho there are 5 other applications using the same connection on our side of the pond, ( BTW the application is hosted here so its faster to go to our db server instead of the one over there.)

Been dealing with a vendor, the system console is painfully slow, and now they admit they know it but no fix yet. Played phone tag for the last two days with the engineer working on this, tomorrow will be day three.

All this and a utility that has worked fine for the last 7 years up and decide no longer to work.( a quick rewrite of the code and it now works with the new environment.) Strange thing we have been using it for the last 4 weeks in the new environment and it only breaks now

Hey - I have two boys - I'm just thankful if they remember to wear underwear at all!
