8:10pm Akerhaus ressie, worth it?

All I can get at Akerhaus is an 8:10pm ressie. My kids can handle the time, but DD will be dressed up as a princess and I'm wondering if this is too late to see the characters? Do the princesses start to disappear as it gets later in the evening, or does it not matter? Will the food still be fresh at this time of night? Will the staff be rushing us out?

We had a late ressie. The princesses did not leave. Illuminations went off while we were there.The food was OK but not great no matter what time you get there. It is a great experience though. We are going this year for breakfast but at night it is a bit more magical.

That was our ressie time in May with the grandkids and we got to see all the princesses. As for the food, the buffet is cold items - salads, cheeses, meats - so it was fine and then the entree was brought out from the kitchen.
