We had a nice little visit with the Magic today. She is as beautiful as ever. Is she a she? My son was quick to ask me that when I first said "I see her!" There was a nice little temporary lot right beside the berth where we could park and walk around and get a nice close up view. I was quite envious of all the people onboard and really wished we could board today. My kids reminded me that we have to wait. As we drove away I said "Goodbye Goofy (on the stern), see you in six weeks!" My DS4 replied, "Goodbye Goofy! See you on August 10."

Hey Karen!
Saw that you commented on the one really negative trip report. After reading it and seeing that the comments are posted in at least 2 different places (some of them in three) I am taking that review with a grain of salt. Not sure why that experience was such a bad one for that person but some of the complaints (imho) were pretty trivial and just odd. Anyway...I'm not going to let those comments affect me in the least. I'm still very excited. Reading other trip reviews (I've really not seen another one with so much negativity attached) I think we'll all have a glorious time.

Disneyland and California Adventure were pretty empty today. I was truly shocked! We visited both parks and went on 10 rides and had lunch and left by 1:00 p.m.! What a day!

That's our favorite way to visit the parks. Get there early, take advantage of the lighter crowds and leave after lunch. Glad you had a great time! Where do you live Andria?

Another HOT HOT day in Seattle today. We didn't get to see the Magic but we did go and spend the day walking along the water front and we watched the cruise ships (3 of them) leave and waved goodbye to everyone the whole time saying that will be us in just over a month.
We are hoping that when Disney builds the other ships that they have one in California and they bring it this way to go to Alaska that would be the best!!!!!
Then we came home to a very hot house and later a lightning storm

Hello everyone!!! Another gorgeous midsummer morning here in sunny South East England...

Starting a new diet this morning and hitting the gym at midday in the hope of shifting a few pre-cruise pounds - I'm nothing if not optimistic!!!

Having made a rule not to read anyone else's post-MR cruise views in the interests of keeping an open mind, I got sucked into reading a rather DIScontented thread last night. So silly, really - vacationing is such a subjective experience and all this poster's negativity centred around issues that won't affect me/mine! Ah well, lesson learned...

So have a marvellous Monday, my fellow cruisers...

We're dolphining in Cabo...Paradise Beach resort in PV. And I *MAY* be ziplining in Mazatlan. We have the Best of Mazatlan booked for now but DW says she can take the girls on that one if I really want to zipline. I think I do.
