7th June special day? Because everything is full!

I just called Disney and they told me that on the 7th of June (Thursday) the whole resort is booked. So if you want to book a stay which includes the night from 7th – 8th June you will have no luck. But for all other nights you still can book!

Is the 7th of June a special day? It is a bank holiday in some parts of Germany but as far as I know it is not a bank holiday in France or the UK.

Or could this mean, that there is a special event in the resort? Maybe another press event for the opening of Cars and Crush???

I've not heard anything about this, but for those going at this time I bet they hope for soft openings in advance of the 12th

But in the first week of June the park is only open until 7pm.
And I thought this would be a sign that the resort will not be very crowded.
But if every hotel is booked that would mean there will be many visitors and they could extend the opening hours!?

It's always possible that there are conferences going on at NBC and HNY, and therefore, regular guests are more staying at the other hotels and in result everything is booked.

Also Disney only have so many rooms themselves as they allocate the rest to travel agents.

I have found this before I tried with disney and was told they were booked. I went with another company and got the same dates that were fully booked with Disney.

I also called a travel agency and they said the same thing. You can book for the 6th or the 8th but not for the 7th!

I thought you might be interested that June 5 is now full as well at the Disney hotels, in addition to June 7.

I was trying to get confirmed my business days that week so I could decide which days to visit the parks, and when I called this morning to book then June 5 was full. But it wasn't full yesterday. They told me I missed by 30 minutes. So I booked for June 3-4 at Newport Bay, and then June 8 at Santa Fe.

I've not heard anything about this, but for those going at this time I bet they hope for soft openings in advance of the 12th

i hope so. Last I heard they were opening on the 9th. We leave on the 8th, so I hope we get a soft opening of Cars at least. I'm a bit wary of Crush's coaster to be honest

Now we can almost be sure that many people will be in the resort this week, if all Disney hotels are booked on Tuesday and Thursday.
But I can't understand why. There are no school holidays in France!

But if all hotels are booked I can't understand why they don't extend the opening times this week from 7pm to 8pm!

oh no, we are there 5-7 and were hoping it would be pretty quiet, i guess i was wrong, not looking forward to the crowds i can tell you, i'm ever so disappointed
