Mandy. We travelled with two other couples on our Norwegian Cruise. It was our Canadian/English friends and another couple from England that we went with.

Missing all my DWDQ friends!
I am doing well. Not doing much, except some writing for Millivers, and my class.

All ready for Thanksgiving here, Not much to do......
I am just making a few things. It will be at my Sons house this year, and its a good thing as I will be heading for KC Mo. on the 29th and be there til the 10th of Dec.
Mike has to go for work, and I thought I might as well enjoy the free room and do some Christmas shopping. I have found some interesting shows, and museums to check out too. It should be fun. Mike wont be available til 6sh in the evenings, but they have a cool 14 block section that they light all the buildings up for Christmas, and have horse-drawn carriages to take you all around to see it!...Lots of Christmas choirs to hear too!

I am sooooo ready for next Aug. to get here. I could really enjoy that cruise right now, and nice sunny Castaway Cay. The cold, wet weather, has been just awful this year, and I always seem to be cold........I would be very happy to skip winter all together.

Robin, are there any photos around from your cruise ? I hope you had a fab time. Have you moved into your new home yet, or are you still between both houses ? I hope you're very happy in your new home

I think we may have a couple of gifts for the grand kids, but that's a drop in the bucket compared to what we need to get. I have had a real hard time getting my Christmas shopping started. There always seems to be other things taking my attention.

I've been busy in KC. Its been fun. Went to the war museum yesterday. It was very interesting in a depressing sort of way. I can see why they say "war is hell"

We are going to an art museum today. Should be fun. Its raining here today so it will be a good place to visit.

Missing my lil guy, but Id be missing Mike more so I'm glad I'm here.

We are booked on a Royal Caribbean cruise for February 27, 2012. The Liberty of the Seas out of Fort Lauderdale. The kids wanted to go and I sure wanted to go with them too Should be a nice trip.

I can't believe that it will be 5 years this weekend since our fantastic cruise, where has time gone ?

We still haven't booked any holidays yet, but I hope we put that right very soon

Robin ~ your cruise sounds lovely, I wish I was heading to the Caribbean next month, lucky you

Betsy ~ when is your next vacation, and where are you off to ? It's my birthday on Friday, so it will be 5 years since you got the guy in the Rose & Crown to sing 'Oh Mandy' to me (I'll never forget that night)

I cant believe its been five years...It was a great vacation.

My next vacation is the cruise we are going on with Kim, Robin, Ann, and all.
Why don't you join us. It would be great to be cruising all together again.
Its Aug. 15th, on the dream. I am really looking forward to it!

I was actually just checking on resort prices. We are looking into the Beach Club to be close to Epcot, but the price is kind of high. We do have APs, so I'm hoping we can get discounted prices. Just have to wait and see. If not I like the Pop.

5 years already..... my how the time flies

Yes Mandy, do think about coming along with us in August. We'd love to have you and Paul onboard with us again. We could have a great time. I think the other cruise we did together is my most favourite out of all the 20 some cruises that I have done

Betsy. How's the weather in your part of the world.

It is very chilly here today but we have managed to get by with very little snow so far this year. I'm just hoping it will stay this way, at least until I get on a plane heading to Florida on February 26th

We have had great weather until a few days ago. No real snow coverings, just a dusting, but the COLD is a killer!
2 degrees when we got up this morning. I will be right next to my fireplace today. The only time I plan on being outside is to get more wood!...Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
BUT its suppose to get warm again next week...crazy weather!but Ill take it.

Mandy if you come with us on the cruise I'll treat you to some Bahama Mama's!
