Liz and I went and spent a couple of hours on the beach on the shores of Lake Erie today. After a very dull morning the sun came out in the afternoon and it was a lovely day.

Not much longer before either one of you heads out on your nice vacations.

Have a great time.

Nothing much new and exciting around here. We have had a ton of people come through the house but so far no one has liked it well enough to want to buy it.

In the meantime we spend a lot of time doing things at the new house.....even if it is just sitting in a chair on the front porch or the gazebo enjoying the atmosphere

I wish you could have made it down to meet up with Kim, Ann, and I... Although it will only be for the morning, unless we arrange something else for either later in the evening or another day. I have ADRs for the castle at 4PM the same day we meet in the AM at Epcot. I figure we will have to head back to the Poly by 2ish... to get the girls dressed in there princess dresses... they are not allowed to wear them until then. after the meal..I don't care. I just want a few good pictures of them with the princesses before they get them dirty or torn... LOL.

Robin, are you working on your new home this weekend ?

Paul & I are heading down to Southampton tomorrow, we have tickets to tour a cruise ship, it's the P&O Ventura, and it looks lovely. We get to tour the ship, then have a bit of lunch. I'm really looking forward to it, as it's something different. Sadly the weather doesn't look that good, but we'll make the most of it, I'll post some photos when I get back

Not to worry! Milli has asked me to take lots of pictures for future articles. I am very excited to watch the kids experiencing all the parks and seeing the castle for the first time as we walk into the park... I think Ill have Mike hold them back, and go ahead of them, so I can get a video of them coming in.

I have some exciting news.

We think that we have finally sold our house

There are a few conditions on the offer that have to be waived within the next week but we are very hopeful.

The closing date will not be until the end of November but I think that we will probably move out to the new house much sooner than that.

Everybody having fun and behaving themselves?

Yay ! It's the weekend ! What are you up to ? I bet Betsy is having an amazing time in WDW, I can't wait to see her photos. Are you doing anything nice this weekend Robin ?

We're not up to much, just having a quiet one, I think me & Paul may go out for a meal tonight, not sure whether to go for a Chinese or an Indian, I don't really mind as long as I don't have to cook it or wash up afterwards

I finally booked flights the other night for our Norwegian Cruise in October.

I'm really starting to look forward to that cruise a lot. Even if it is not Disney

So, what are you up to this weekend ? We've had a quiet one, just before it starts to get mad with packing and organising in the next few days

The news is full of the Hurricane, I heard in has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm, thank goodness, what with earthquakes and hurricanes, it's been a mad week on the East Coast

Mandy. All packed yet?

We are going on the Norwegian Pearl. It leaves from Miami on Sunday October 23 and returns on Sunday October 30.

It goes from Miami to Norwegians "island", to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel with some sea days thrown in there for good luck

We are flying down on Saturday October 22 and meeting up with some friends who are spending the week before in Florida at a time share. We were invited for that too but can't really take all that much time away.

I'm looking forward to it, now that the dust is starting to settle with the house stuff.

The new house is almost ready to move in. The painting is pretty much finished. The carpets are being cleaned this Friday. We are replacing some of the carpets and all of the flooring in the bathrooms. They had carpet in the bathrooms. Not exactly what you want to move into, somebody elses carpeted bathroom That won't be done until Sept 14 area. So after that we will feel free to move in.

The people are not getting our present house until the end of November.

Safe trip Mandy! I bet you will have a blast!
We are going to stay with friends at their cottage in upstate NY. They are closing it up for the season, and saying a proper farewell. It should be a lot of fun! We will be home on Sunday in the evening!

I'm doing ok. The floods have been pretty bad all around us, but we are fine up on our hill. Mike has been stuck home, but can work from here. The new flood wall at the hospital where he works has held! This is great news. He just cant get into Binghamton as all the bridges are closed, and a lot of Binghamton and surrounding towns and villages are under water. We took some pictures. Ill post as soon as I get the chance...
